Genuine question, is there any evidence that this is the case? How do we know we've not got any back-up options? The press sure as shit don't know who's on our list, and how do we know we're "flailing around", we've had bids and approaches rejected sure, but that doesn't mean we're running around like headless chicken without a clue of what we're doing. I get that to date this window has been disappointing, and the Isak stuff isn't great, but I really don't understand why there has been this much of a shitstorm whipped up when there is still over 6 weeks of the Transfer Window left.

I feel like i'm in a fever dream, i'm over here chilled as fuck, thinking we're in good hands and while the transfer window hasn't been as ideal and quick as i'd like, they're actively trying and they're targetting genuinely quality players that will improve is, and yet we're getting posts from people like Hope above and others one here about "home truths" that the club need to face up to, like we've just lost 5 on the bounce and are just above the drop-zone, and not having just lost our first pre-season game against a team that are several weeks ahead of us.

I don't think anyone will really give a fuck to be honest. It's the first game of pre-season, it means nothing, bar an improvement on fitness.

The worst thing about pre-season is my inability to tell if people are genuinely upset at losing our first game, and at mistakes being made.

Does it matter if they're unimaginative if they improve us? Which every player we've been linked with undoubtedly would.
