Do we reckon we could give them Vlach back as part of the deal? That'll give them an extra £20m of value after all

There away kit is class like. Not that it particularly matters, they'll still be relegated in it
  3. That may be the worst Umbro shirt i've seen, very rare swing and a miss for them, they're usually spot on.

Chelsea just signed Jaime Gittens for £50m basically the exact same as this deal for Elanga. He is hardly World Class, albeit he is a couple of years younger. Last season in the Bundesliga he had 8 goals, 3 Assists in 32 matches, he will be signing from a league it's notoriously difficult for forwards to adapt from (This view may be clouded by Timo Werner). Elanga on the other had 6 goals and 11 Assists in 38 games, and will already be up to speed with the pace and physicality of the Premier League. I'm not saying Elanga is World Class or anything, but to say £55m gets you World Class talent from the continent is wrong. Liverpool paid £120m for a World Class talent for instance.

I don't really know a whole lot about him, other than he's rapid, and has had pretty decent numbers over the last few season, while playing for a primarily defensive team, so you'd think he'd do well for a team with more of the ball. Also quite frankly, he takes us to the next level for the simple fact our current right wing back-up is thin air.
  7. Fucking hell, I really hope thats incorrect.
  8. I don't even think he looked poor (bar that West Ham game) he just looked a bit of a non-entity.

For what little it's worth, ESPN have our home kit as the third best kit released so far in the Premier League, and the third kit as number 1: https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/45588250/premier-league-2025-26-kits-ranking-every-jersey-released

    Eddie Howe

They signed 8 of the starting lineup from the final, appointed the manager that won the cup, and his backroom staff, transformed the current training ground so the players arn't training in a landfill, and created the culture that mediocrity isn't tolerated no matter what is against us.
  13. According to this site (Which is very likely to be wrong): https://www.capology.com/player/jamal-lewis-35820/ He was on £45k a week, which equates to £2,340,000 per year. He has been here for 5 seasons, which means we've paid him £11,700,000 in his time at the club. We apparently paid around £15m for him from Norwich, which means he's cost us a total of £26,700,000. He played a total of 36 games of us, which means per game played he cost £741,666. He started 27 games for us, which means per start he cost £988,888. He played a total of 2580 minutes for us, which means per minute on the pitch he cost £10,348.

    João Pedro

While annoying, if Chelsea payed more than what we valued him at, than the club did the right thing in not overextending the budget. Besides, I didn't really want a player that tries to take another professionals head off with his elbow.
  15. Probably the best version of the 1000 or so i've seen of this format:

  17. It's like a desert in here, we're all thirsty for news, so you've got to give the people that little serotonin hit when they log on, even if it is from the never reliable Edwards

  19. That's the perfect summation of McClaren, I remember sticking up for him a fair bit, as he seemed a decent bloke, and you could see what he was trying to implement, he was just incredibly poor at doing that, and ultimately he was just out of his depth. I also think towards the end you could visibly see the stress on his face, that it made me feel a little sorry for him. Personally I don't include him at the same level as Bruce, Pardew and Carver, McClaren was a bit of a wet fart, where as the other three where full blown Nora virus, they all seemed vindictive and like they purposely chose to fight with the fans and showed them 0 respect, you didn't get that with Schteevve.

If the that third kit had this collar with the same colour as the V-Neck, I'd be perfect imo.
