He's been our best player this season alongside Coloccini. I'd call that backing it up. Maybe our best player but he's not the "best midfielder in England" he's been very good but was dreadful for the 3 years prior to this season, not to mention spending some of that time in jail ffs. His history of behaving like a complete scumbag means that people will jump all over him when he comes out with this kind of nonsense & it's something he's only brought on himself. He just needs to shut his mouth and play. Bar maybe Jack Wilshire there isn't exactly a host of competition in the English midfield who can honesty say they have been better than Barton this season.

People have bad games, today everyone had a bad game. People need to get over it, look to the next game and hope he puts in a performance more in tune with the rest of his season. Making those comments in the paper has not made him a shit footballer...

Just gotten the new PhotoShop so tried fucking around with the Nike French Kit and came out with this, needs a bit of touching up on the badge, logo & sponsor, and the colours are all too light/dark, but I reckon it would look alright. I wish Nike did our kits like.
