FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote
Hanshithispantz replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
I agree that we need a better standard of referee, but even the best referees in the world make mistakes. You need a system in place for when they make these mistakes, which is the why the rules need changing. As things stand, mistakes can't be rectified in most cases. Footy wud be less intresting den tho. I do love when that argument is given like I can't imagine what barrel of laughs we'd have missed if Viduka's goal against Fulham wasn't chalked off and we stayed up. this. Worst cliche ever tbh -
Actualy be pretty chuffed if we get him, realy lacking any quality in depth and he certainly brings decent pedigree for the bench.

Beef curtains flopping all over the shop, boobies hanging out and all sorts. Sheer carnage.

Sunderland v Newcastle United pre-match thread - Sun 16th Jan at 12!

this, bartons main problem was that he wasn't advanced enough when he was in the centre as that was nolans job, on the right he seems to be given the freedom to just do what he pleases. He can do a job in the hokding role but he's much more effective using his passing range and technique further forward. -
Mad when a lass apears on a footy forum like the place goes beserk, reminds me of that south park episode when Bebe grows a set of knockers.

FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote
Hanshithispantz replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
One thing thats nice to see like is newcastle fans not instantly sticking up for him as he's tiote, went on the city boards after ben arfa had his leg hacked in half and not 1 person admited it was a bad challenge and we were just a bunch of geordie puffs, was cringeworthy to be honest. -
FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote

Anyway the tackle is a wierd one, did he use unnecisary force? Was he in control? Was he reckless? I think thats the criteria that the look at, and tbh i cannot see us winning an appeal and the fa undermining one of there officials in such a case. Utter discusting he'll more than likely face a 3 match ban where as de jong walked free like. -

Punish Tiote for being good at his job, let De Jong walk away for being s**** at it...mad world. De Jong's was just as reckless and he should have been sent off too - i f***ing hate what happened then, and it's kinda my point. It's just unfortunate it's one of our players. You should get sent off for going in two-footed, off the floor imo. in what way was tiote's challenge two footed? -

petitions been to faxed to parliment as we speak. -
If tiote is out i expect smith to come into the middle alongside nolan with barton staying out wide, not what i'd do like but it's what i expect pardew would field for a derby, i also exoect it wouldn't be as catostrophic as people would bang on about it been.
-
bloody hell, some good stats them, keep barton on the right next season and we've won the league, fact.
-
Theres nothing to stop Barton drifting wide when he's in the centre to be honest, especialy if he's part of a 5 man midfield
-
the white Geremi then?

Thats how i used to see him a couple years back, admitedly havn't seen much of him recently though be he was a pretty decent player. Certainly good enough for our bench, thats for sure. All in all good signing, hopefully we bring in a striker aswell though.
