Any major injury to Gerrad and Woy is bonned. I see where you're coming from but the point isn't as powerful as it was a couple of seasons ago. Gerrard is on the way downhill and can't carry the team as he once did. Torres hasn't looked interested thus far this season as well. All in all, delightful. Torres really looks like he's had enough. Packing up his olives and paella kit as we speak. haha

On Barton's return to football Nasri intentionally goaded Barton (who was under great pressure and very much in the spotlight) in an attempt to get him to react. Pot, kettle, black ? which is exactly what you would expect our players to do if the role was reversed. But you wouldn't expect them to still talk about what was (iirc) a proffesional foul on the half way line 2 years later. why not, he was asked about it and says he was on the end of a similar soert of tackle. I may be thinking of the wrong challenge to be honest. bartons tackle on nasri was nowhere near as bad as de jongs (or bartons tackle on alonso) but it was meant to be a "marker" type challenge. Ah right, I cannot remember it to be honest, I'm thinking of the "trip" he did in the same game, that may have been against Fabregas though

Shit and quite frankly completely unnecisary list. I mean what exactly was the point of this anyway? And what exactly has he based Tiote on anyway? The 3 games he's played for us where he's arguably been the best player on the pitch in all of them?

And like he actualy thought of all this before giving his opinion on the tackle... He was asked about the tackle, he gave his honest opinion, it's a shite opinion like but what can you do. To suggest he should lose his job because of this is absolutely rediculas.

No Calderwood should not be sacked, for christ sake... Silly comments by him, but fucking hell people are going way over board

This^ I've never once heard anyone mention banning hard tackling, tackle as hard as you like as you have the ability to cleanly win the ball withought lunging in. Theres no excuse for your trailing leg wraping around (or even coming into hard contact) with the opposing player though.

What exactly is "our side of the game" like?

You're actually trying to talk to someone about their expectation levels & you're moaning about us not creating many chances against a stoke side who had the 5th most clean sheets in premier league last season while we stand as a side who have just been promoted. Ofcourse thats irrelevant because theyre not Inter Milan, brilliant. Then bringing up nonsense about how we'd have done in the mid 90's in another post completely bizarre illogical waffling. Man city, Stoke & Everton actually have three very good defences believe it or not. Us not creating loads in our position really shouldnt be that suprising. We created more than enough against Blackpool & Wolves and should have won both games. Its more suprising that we were the first side to score a decent goal against Man city in the prem all season, with them having just played Chelsea. Stop the overly negative whining. When I have to take advice from the likes of air-heads such as you I will start to get worried. Go back to the Fairy Land you usually inhabit because I have no time for you - I will not answer any more of your brainless posts. As for the 90s, you were only a kid...have you grown up yet ?

your sporting a lovely package djmattis, it must be said...

Ugh, just saw it and it was arguably a worse tackle than the one on HBA. Didn't even pretend to go for the ball. and that was a friendly

They usualy classes as "shots blocked". They are on the SS website anyway. Well done - does that mean 'NEARLY a goal, VERY nearly a goal, or just that the person making the shot was too slow to get past the defender...!? Lies, Damned lies - then Statisitics ; Stoke - we LOST, Blackpool, LOST, Man C LOST - those are the facts, nothing will change them. Probably the most contradictory post i've ever read.

Wayne Routledge signs 3 year deal with Swansea

Williamson and Sol will get a few games together dpending on Colo's injury, whichever looks the best out of the 2 in my opinion should keep there place, Coloccini has to come straight back into the side though. -
I don't see a problem with 'hard tackles' when there actualy necessary and are actualy fair, skillfull tackles. But what pisses me off is when it's just some twat slinging his weight around who blatantly can't actualy tackle.

Did De Jong show any concern after the challenge?

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Hanshithispantz replied to Pilko's topic in Football
Kevin Davies, seriously man what the fuck? I'm glad Carroll hasn't been given a call up to be honest, could realy do withough more injury worries, but what the hell is the point of calling up Davies? Don't get me wrong he has always been a fantastic target man, and will allways be exelent for a club like Bolton, but an England call-up at 33? Absolutely stupid from Cappelo who is becoming more and more of a joke each week to be honest. -
guthrie was slated because he never even made any pretence of going for the ball. come on man, newcastle fans were defending shearer when kick lennon in the face and would just use the line of "he got the ball first, the rest was just unfortunate but wasn't deliberate" I cannot argue with that like
-
Guthrie was slated for what he did, the only shining light that was viewed from that incident was the fact Fagan is a massive cunt.
-
Seems City fans have become massive c**ts over the past couple of years. Would never have thought i'd ever actualy want to see Man Utd paste Man City, oh how times change. I've got no problem with City fans not given a s*** about the diabolical penalty desisions that ultimatly won them the game, I personaly loved the fact Wolves were robbed of penalty against us, as I would be any desision going our way for a change, but to show no remorse over what coule be a career threatening injury is f***ing pathetic.
