In all honesty this should be a good thing for them, as it's a chance to bring in a proper up and coming manager in the mould of Potter (before he joined Swansea), which is the best a club like them can do to move up the footballing pyramid. It just doesn't seem like they have the people to identify and court that kind of manager. They'll end up with some proven-to-be average established name and will finish lower mid-table.

Did he not do alright on loan to Shef Wed? The drop to the Championship is huge and pacy wingers who are technically sound can do well there. His shortcomings seem to be mostly mental too, he gets time on the ball and seems to overthink things, he doesn't have the natural instinct to just play a weighted pass to a teammate in a better position, he'll look up, see three players asking for the ball and start to visually compute where he needs to put it, fucks up his calculations and gives it straight to a defender.

I assumed Howe would want someone who can do the Shelvey role like, rather than just a destroyer, given how we play. He seems to have really good long ball accuracy but rarely hits it long (FBRed)

Surprised they don’t seem to massively rate Sa, I thought he was seen as one of the best in the league last year. They looked great against Tottenham first half, we can definitely get a result but without Wilson we’re tepid up top, hopefully Isak gets more than 20 minutes of needed.
