That is apparently very different from winning in any other league in the world. felix magath struggled hugely in this league despite his reputation and experience. Because he was in charge of a faltering Fulham side who sold all of their best players, nothing to do with 'knowing the league'. They also bought the best striker in the division. And had gaping holes of crap in nearly every other position. What happens in League One? Do you need a knowledge of League One to suceed? Why are players like Payet so successful in the Premier League with no experience of it? How did Mourinho ever suceed in any job, he had no experience of the league when he started each role. What a shite performance once again. The first half was one of the worst I've ever seen as a Newcastle fan (and that takes some beating/matching). Ritchie changed the game when he came on at half time but you have to ask why he didn't start the game. I know he was a doubt and had a late fitness test but if he was fit enough to be on the bench, he should have been fit enough to start the game. We've signed a lot of players this summer and it's obvious they are going to take a bit of time to gel. I just hope that's all it is, a matter of the team gelling. We look very very slow when trying to pass the ball between ourselves.
