Dummett's distribution is even worse, and his mistakes tend to keep us under pressure as a result. Also for a relatively big man he's so f***ing weak going out to meet wide players. I know it's still early days for this lad but he hasn't really shown anything yet which is worthy of a mention. The £12/13/14 million (whatever it was) could have been much better spend on an area of the team where we're desperate - A (Commanding) Centre half. The lad is not as bad as a lot of people make out, he certainly deserves a chance under the new setup.

Spot on, when was the last time we did this in a derby? We've been far too slow and ponderous from the off for donkeys. No coincidence that they have started better and have gone on to win the game. That's part of the reason we've lost, especially at their place. We let them come onto us, their confidence rises, their fans have summit to shout about and the rest is history. We need to get at their shit defence straight away rather than let them at our shit defence.

Can't disagree with any of that. Seems odd to say it but Debuchy was arguably better in the air than Janmaat. Debuchy was great in the air for his size. Some games he would go the whole game and not have been beaten in the air once.
