  1. One of the Spurs fans can answer in more detail about his overall play, but I think he got some assists in those games. He won the penalty against us.

    Sunderland...

I never realised Gary Cahill was one of yours, but yeah, a strange one to sell if your club is supposedly on the up.
  3. Spurs also look a little dependent on Adebayor who can go off the boil. With the four teams scrapping for two places and presumably taking points off each other, it also opens things up for others to sneak in there.
  4. What horrible news. He always seemed so genuine and balanced, and his amazing fitness record makes this seem all the more incredible. My thoughts go out to his family. Far too young.
  5. Searching for Rooney fight with Dan Arcer may locate ye some moving images.

    Alan Pardew

Incredible team spirit at the minute. The lads are showing great determination.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

With Jonas out, how about playing him left wing in front of Santon next week? Bring Besty back in too.
  8. I thought it was nowt it real time but it looked pretty bad in the replay. The ball had clearly gone.
  9. Someone should tell the berk its called defending. And missing the barn door with that one Ashley Young let run across his body. He hit it at least a yard wide.
  10. I think we have about as many goal-line clearances as goals conceded from open play. Never say die!

    Ryan Taylor

Perhaps no protection from Jonas next week could the catalyst for Santon coming in. We were lucky Raylor didn't cost us today.

Passed a couple of times today when I'd liked him to take it on himself. Still, he didn't see much of the ball and he got the pelanty when he did. Their legendary center halves were noticeably backing off him too. It all bodes well.
  13. Great that it was against them. Payback for that 1-0 at SJP that turned the tide under KK.
  14. Great again today. Someone put up a screenshot up of where the ball was when Rooney last kicked out at him. It looked about three yards away.
  15. That felt so good! Well played lads! Poetic justice after Rooney kicking Colo!
  16. I think its amazing how the general behind-the-scenes ineptitude at our club is commented upon far more often that Chelsea's. Showing Mourinho and Ancelotti the door, undermining Avram Grant even before the CL final (the only game I've wanted them to win and for that very reason), the Shevchenko and now Torres episodes....that club is very badly run. Its a credit to consistency of Lampard, Drogba etc. that they have not fallen harder and sooner. As for Citeh, I don't mind them winning the title a couple of times to piss off ManYoo and their legions of plastics. No dynasty though, please. Even if Citeh run away with the league this time, the mini league at the top for the CL places is now about as competitive as it has been for a long long time. Citeh's rise has really shaken Chelsea and Arsenal, and may well frustrate Liverpool's attempts to get back up there. There's no cozy Sky Four any more.
  17. Two less than Spuds and three less than ManUre. And they don't have a Wigan reject right back at left back. Pity we couldn't have taken one of the chances. Had we got them back to 2-1 they would have wobbled like they did against Wolves. Shame its ManUre next, especially with their wide players.
  18. Shame to concede two like that because they'd only had one clear chance for all their possession. We managed two with our limited possession in their half. Jonas hasn't been following Richards as much I'd normally expect. I guess its orders but I don't understand why.
  19. Curse of the ex-player could strike with Milner but no Silva is about as good as we could have expected. Nasri mightn't be 100% either. That save Krul got off him last season was immense.
