Some tough paper rounds in the Congo by the looks of it.

The definition of a big club is quite simple........................ You can be simply a big club, a well supported club, a successful club, a historically successful club, a well supported big club, a historically well supported club, a big well supported successful club, or you can be Sunderland. Simples.

In context at the minute it's a good price, it's nothing compared to the AC or Torres fees. Obviously all hypothetical at the minute but if he was available for that price I'd rip their arm off.
-
Agreed its the definition of a no brainer. Young, talented and we'll prob double fee that if he moves on in a few years can't see a great deal of risk with this one.
-
He'll need the extra money judging by his nightclub bill he posted on twitter http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg738/scaled.php?tn=0&server=738&filename=d7eph.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=640 What a nob for posting that, talk about crass. I hate the bling aspect of modern football.
-
Must be a typo. Agreed if thats all they want for him we should give them the money today. Can't be right tough as almost everyone would be tempted for that price.
-
Nah don't want him he's not French.
-
Should he be up this late, Wenger won't like that he'll be cranky in the morning if he stays up much longer.
-
FFS man why are we so crap at international football.
-
Absolute must keep, one of our best performers. We need to be careful that we don't rip the spin out of the team and end up with ten new faces that don't know the club or the league.. Evolution not revolution.

waiting for the glue holding his knee cap on to set. Bloody typical of this club won't even shell out for quick drying glue - sack the board!
-
Hurrah! Anyword on what the hold up was? Glad this has gone through should be a very good signing, right who's next.
-
Without doubt, just need the cover in the squad if he does break.
-
I know we've all had a laugh about what a pisshead he is, but admitting to your club physio that you're addicted to alcohol is the next level up. (That the physio would then blab about it is another story ) Wonder how long he'll be staying as head of sports science with a gob like that on him.

It's the summer so we've entered blind panic mode, if there's a picture of Ben Arfa in the paper not smiling then we're all doooooooomed I tells ya.

Best won't be on much right, seems daft to get rid when we know he can do a job for us in a tight spot. Really hope we have significant numbers come in over the next month as starting to get a bit nervous. If we start on the same numbers as last season with the same strength and depth on the bench we are an injury crisis away from trouble, doesn't matter how good the first team are. That said there is still time and I am a worrier so just need to chill, god I hate the summer.

Still think this is the way to go, though the musical co-ordination to pull it off may be tricky lol.

Star wars, imperial march. Imperial March would be brilliant.
-
Good bit of business, it'll be interesting to see who we get in to partner him.

When the upgrade breaks his leg and the alternative is Alan Smith.

Wow, that says a lot! It says that we relied far too much on a very limited player. Or that he is a very underrated player. He isn't underrated in though, everyone knows he's very good at what he does, and very limited in most other areas. Everyone should also realise that if your team cant win games without Kevin Nolan, then you need a new team, not to simply focus on keeping him at all costs. Eh? What's so hard to understand? Are you seriously telling me your happy with your side relying so heavily on a player like Nolan that they cant win without him? What you're saying makes no sense. If we rely so heavily on Nolan it's because his team-mates are not up to it. I'm saying we should bring in better players and therefore no longer need a limited player like Nolan in the side, how does that not make sense? Let me put it another way: Boss: OK, Harton, we're shipping Bolan out. Harton: Bolan?! But he's 300% more productive than the rest of our staff put together! Boss: Exactly, Harton. How can we grow as a company while he's holding us back? Harton: Sir, I think you've had some kind of seizure. lol exactly.

Exactly, it's an interesting strategy "right you got us up and kept us up now f*ck off."

The solution isn't to sell him though it's to add to the squad and gradually reduce that dependency. Which means giving a player your looking to remove from the team a new 4 year £50k+ contract, is that a good move? He's got time left on his contract man, and the fee ain't gonna be much anyway so no I wouldn't give him a new four year deal but would have kept the player. Ok here's another question, do you think Nolan would be ok with just staying without signing a new deal? Because I don't think his actions suggest that at all. It seems to me that he either wanted a new four year contract or wanted to go somewhere were he'd get that contract. Wouldn't have been an issue because then he's either playing for a new deal or putting himself in the shop window for another club.
