They're not at all comparable, man.
He's Swedish and so has an opinion on both players. Clearly he rates Guidetti and sees a 19 year old on a free as a good piece of business and as one for the future, while alternatively while he might rate Elmander he doesn't agree that we should be looking at him as our potential starting striker next season (along with the wages and signing on fees that would come with), and instead we should be looking elsewhere for younger possibly better players.
It's really not difficult to comprehend, or at least interpret his way of thinking.

I havent seen Mourinho at all, where is he?
Banned.
I thought no action was enforced on either clubs in the end..?
Or is this linked with his red card in the reverse fixture?

David Vaughan is out of contract in the summer...
Sunderland linked with him oooo

I've said Simpson, purely because I thought he was a Championship level player at the end of last season, and now he is a solid PL RB.
I already new Barton was class, and he was class, for the first half of this season. Been pretty pants last couple of games though.
I think he's a very average full-back, who doesn't really contribute anything while in possession, and backs off his man far too much.
Although we have higher priority positions to look at in the summer, if there's a better option available than Simpson, then it's something we shouldn't dismiss.
Couldn't have put it better

On Javier Hernandez: ""He is 10 years younger of course, so maybe he is a better version of the current Michael Owen," said Owen.
Not arrogant, i'll give him that

Where'd all this Giggs stuff come from? Have i missed something?

Sick of being linked to all these average squad players. 2 or 3 quality players is what we need, not more dross to pad out the dross we already have.

Damn, i missed Jose on Late Kick-Off :-[
Not on i-player either

Had a dream Carroll scored 2, i shook my head when he scored and said "I knew this was going to happen" with an accompanying facepalm
You can't have shaken your head and facepalm'd. It looks silly. A definite dream.
[You're all trying, aren't you?]
The facepalm followed the shaken head, and it was a dream, anything can happen lol

sheffield united last season drank about 4 special k's before kick off next thing i know i wake up in sheffield hospital about 3am with no money and my train tickets are out of date.
Ended up speaking to some hobo in the hospital and some other bloke who claimed to be joe calzaghe's trainer.
spent the journey home in the toilets
That sounds like a story you need to expand on!
I could write a book on that day to be honest mate.

Watched Seville vs Villareal the other day and he was quite average tbh, dives a lot also, therefore falling into the "other" category of Argie (cheetin' divin' gypsy barsteward - maradona)
I have watched a few Sevilla game this season and have not been impressed by him at all really.
He's certainly not worth the reported €16m price tag
-
He can play with both feet and yes he plays usually on the left wing. Don't know much about him although he looks a decent player. The article is pretty weak though, there are no direct quotes, only 'it is being claimed' and 'reports suggest'.

Diego Perotti of Sevilla 'strongly linked' say Sky Sports

Anyone know when the full Enrique interview is broadcast on Late Kick-Off? I've seen the shortened preview on the previous programme

Bassong and Coloccini, in hindsight, would've been a quality partnership - one of (if not the) best we've had in the Premier League. Frustrating, but i wouldn't have him back. Any promise that guy showed was tainted by him jumping ship when we went down. I wouldn't go near anyone who left us the year we went down, no way.
I think that a surprising attitude towards him tbh
.
Since the single, solitary, reason that some of the current players are here right now.. is not out of loyalty, or a determination to put the relegation season right... It's because their wage packet was too large. They wanted to stick around, knowing they have no relegation wage cut in their contracts, and definitely not wanting to take a pay cut to play top flight football.
Bassong was actually our best performer that year too, did a lot better than his bigger name team mates. For the most part got on with it. Plus the club needed the money too..
Whether or not you can 'blame' them for leaving... they took us down and then f***ed off. That's the fundamental aspect of it here, and i wouldn't have any single one of them back.

Last 3 games according to pardew
A forward line of
Barton tiote Ireland ben arfa
Nolan
Ameobi
Should definately get 3 points out of those 3 games
OR, you could play everyone in their best positions and do even better. f***ing Ireland off in the meantime.
What would you suggest?

Would love it if we made a move for him. He's like Cheick Tiote's little brother
