So, what is his song? -
Our options for wingers have quadrupled this season compared to last. We for sure are a much more fluid team this year then last with several options to use both in counter attack and slow build up play. What we lack the most imo. Is fullbacks and a link between attack and defence. But I'm quite comfortable that Vuckic and Marveaux can provide it aswell.
-
When Ben Arfa is back and will be the interlink between midfield and attack. Would Best/Ba be the worst scenario we could possibly encounter? Ba certainly has been lively with movement for WH earlier. And Best know how to put his chances his goal ratio more then proves that tbf. With decent fullbacks I think we really are okay. But a luxury talent at the CF position wouldn't offcourse be a no from me.
-
Nonetheless, such a talent for 5m is a steal. If we can get half of what he did to Ronaldo that night out of him on regular basis we would have a right back many will envy us for many years to come.
-
A very winnable fixture next, then a villa game I reckon we'll at most draw in if we ain't got our fullbacks settled by then. Nzog and Agbonlahor will tear us a new one if not. But creds today for the new passing game we are playing. Also nice to see us having 70% of the ball most of the time on SJP. Will probably be just better and better by christmas time. And hope we can push on with momentum. Could easily see us up there by christmas with everything to play for.
-
Thats right, the spirit was a little high. Nice of you to take responsibility and bring it back down again. Wasn't there a word of Cissokho for a medical on monday? And they were working on roux?
-
Keep forgetting we got this lad all the time. But then it comes back to me and I fall in love all over again.

Best is a goalscorer, not much else for me. He's quite good when he gets the ball inside the box. Know where the goal is most times. But what he really struggles with is the build up play. He never seem to be really comfortable with it. He ain't that good either to run at defences. But as long as we can get the ball into the box, best should start I think.

He really shows class at times with the ball, hope he gets well soon and the injuries stays clean for him for a year. With game time in the premier league he could really blossom into a massive player. -

He got an tremendous shot. Imo allready as good as Barton was. Also got that winning mentality comming from a ligue 1 champions. Will probably just become better and better. Just love how he allways picks out our forwards with passes between their midfielders. Still think we lack more runs down the flanks though. Obertan and gutierrez should be more down there and in the face of the defenders. That said Obertan had a few good runs down the flank, hope he will do them much more often as confidence and settling starts to kick in. -
Rather him then Routledge...

Slightly hung over on a sunday morning and I'm allready buzzing MATCHDAY! -
Who's that cute thing on the Chelsea bench? New massuse?
-
After watching him lately, he seems like a hoofer. He's an okay mediocre player wich lacks something as he defo got the speed to come more forward when needed too. But there is something about him wich makes me believe Taylor fits more into the new kind of play. More calm on the ball as of experience. Got a decent delivery when going forward, might even say one of the better ones at the club. Even when taylor lacks the pace to do so, he is more comfortable with the ball at his feet to actually bypass a defender to get the cross in. And he also offers something from set pieces wich is a huge bonus. Those things makes me choose Raylor ahead of Simpson at this moment of time.

Joey at the stands at the QPR game having the "What have I done?"-face while his mates was joking and laughing he didn't even smile.
-
Whatever happens, we should deploy alot more offensive mentality in the RM slot. Our creative players can have all the creativity they want if there is none to play that pass too. We need more players willing to run w/o the ball at defences, in behind, stretch. Meeting forwards all together, I think our team has looked all too stationary.
-
Hopefully he won't be a lazy ass "finishing only" forward. Got enough of them allready.
-
Cissokho, Roux and Santon. Our possesion play would tear teams apart by christmas. By end of may we would be challenging around 10th-6th.

Senderos/hangeland, hope we ain't gonna hoof it this time. Better off trying to bring it down to the deck in this game. Murphy ain't got the work load anymore to run that much and we should be quite comfortable bringing it around in the middle. -
Will miss his personality, not much more. Was allways fun to watch him, his controversy on the pitch. Allways knew he would be in some kind of clinch with a player. But I fully believe Cabaye will make us forget Barton ever was at the club, looks alot better player wich actually got some dribbeling skill and speed, and not to mention mobility to be that deeplying playmaker.

Still if you aren't eating all day it will effect you the rest of the day aswell.

People payed top notch money to be in top form shouldn't put religion on top of their career. Ramadan is no excuse to not beeing able to run at all. He was shit, had no speed, nor work rate. What's up with him? He was a much better player at West Ham, bet he has been better wherever he has been... When does ramadan end anyway?
