I do think we had this one lined up before the transferwindow started, but OM playing hardball and Arry's wheelin' deelin' got the better of us. We aren't dishing out those kind of wages, and why would we? None of our nowbeeing stars are on that kind of money. I just hope they will move on quick enough and there are more potential targets out there worth attempting.

Ain't the fastest of people, but he has excelled at national level and really been the standout performer. Knows how to pass the ball and is really aggressive in the duels. I like him alot and he was one of the reasons why Solskjaer took the title for the 2nd time.

we should add a CM regardless as having 3 first teamers with 2 games a week most of the time isn't nearly enough.

Just wonder how he is thinking. When we went 4-3-3 we had little support in and around the CF. When we went 4-4-2 we had 3 inside foots to get the ball in. And not to mention the worst crosser of them was on his right foot. The run ins for crosses looks dreadfull aswell, no one attacking the far or close post.

you can hit on the break when you got space, we have to deny the space and therefore push the fullbacks further up field, so they are closer to the attacking wingers when they decide the break is on. Having a defensive midfielder + 2 stoppers should be more then enough to take care of the lone forward.

What I'm most worried about, is Pardew comfortable taking the risk of playing such an offensive football?

If we are going to play with two wingers cutting inside it is even more important to have the right foot at the right side to provide width.

Think he has played better lately then at the start. Sometimes earlier he couldn't even trap a ball and was so eager to score he blew chances before they were made. Now he is more calm when in posession and passes back, tries through balls etc. when not in position himself.
