  1. This is a fucking my disgrace like. West Ham are being royally fucked over
  2. Got to hope they take the game seriously. It’s almost impossible for them to finish outside the top five but a result today confirms it

    Nick Pope

Aye, he’s got the Benny Hill slapstick bits down to a fine art. I love him and always will but I can’t wait to never see him in our net again
  4. He’s ridiculously quick. He might not always know what he’s going to do in the next second but neither do defenders against him so it’s not really a weakness. His feints are decent and he bullied the lad at LB multiple times. I really like him in a wide right role and he is great at playing on the shoulder because of his pace. Think he’ll always be a frustration as he’ll mess up simple stuff but he’s actually a really great squad option. He’ll want to be the starting striker though
  5. Oooof, that’s a very poor quote from Howe and also a complete misreading of our defensive issues
  6. Let’s review the squad: Trippier - gone Krafth - gone? Schar - possibly finished Tino - huge noise about wanting away Gordon - huge noise about wanting away Tonali - substantial noise about wanting away Elanga - A travesty of a footballer Wissa - A travesty of a transfer Murphy - not a massively talented lad and he’s now losing some pace rendering him only suitable as a bench option Pope - needs a trip to the glue factory Ramsdale - needs a trip to a championship/premier league yo-yo club Willock - should be sold Joelinton - should be sold if there’s a proper offer as his body is so fragile and we can’t expect him to be the warrior he’s been for us Woltemade - seemingly been a very difficult season for him and Howe as a duo and it’s unclear how trusted he is and how flexible Howe can be Find it hard to believe we can avoid a major overhaul, even if it’s not on our terms
  7. Aye, 99% of his stuff is just baiting content thats being pushed by an agent or club. I’d be very happy to never see him posted again unless it’s a picture of him in a coffin
  8. This guy made his way back to Westeros yet?

    Shola Ameobi

Newcastle United legend Shola Ameobi had some explaining to do when he rang David Hopkinson to report a burglary. The Nigerian international arrived at the academy to find a slew of players had gone missing. Believing the academy had been broken into, he then looked for his loan book, but too late -- that had clearly been stolen by the 'thieves' as well. So he rang the Hoppo to report a break-in and gave a list of missing players - Ashers, Whitey, off target, the Odyssey, Hernesy, McArthury, Thompsony, Sauna and Corduroy. After putting the phone down, the distraught footballer then found his loan book, along with the other "missing" players -- and realised the place was empty purely because he'd loaned out players to teams that wouldn’t play them. The mis-firing Loan Coordinator sheepishly had to call Hoppo back to report a false alarm. Ameobi follows in that long line of extremely untalented footballers who can do awful things on the field, but fare even less well off it -- to the point that they are simply unable to fend for themselves. Who's to blame? Shola of course. While the footballer sits back and rakes the cash in, the loan players are busy tending to the substitutes’ benches. Yes, the pampered pro of the modern world is not exactly wise in the ways of the world and, as Ameobi's latest stunt will testify, the good news stories just keep on rolling! How we'd love to hear what was said when he rang Hoppo back!

    Yoane Wissa

actively wants to stay as his next destination is a club consistently scrapping to stay up / yo-yoing
  11. Wew, that looks absolutely disgusting

If Eddie is playing a large role in Hall and Woltemade being unhappy at the club then that’s a real red flag. They’re two of our very few technically good players

    Nick Woltemade

I largely agree with this despite being both a fan of Woltemade and Eddie. I think Eddie looked at Woltemade’s movement and decided that that, coupled with his lack of pace meant that he couldn’t play up top for us in our current team. That may change with different wide players but there were other options like changing to playing with a 10 that could have made great use of Wolte, and not having to play him as an out and out striker. Instead, we got the weird experiment in midfield where he’s not really playing between the lines, and teams understood that if they put two players around him and hounded him quickly they’d force him into releasing it poorly or would foul him and not get blown for the foul. That experiment and the lack of trying to work him into an attacking system has been my biggest disappointment with Howe this season

Going to need to wait until I hear @Kid Icarus’s account but this does sound like it’s probably bang on
  15. Disagree that it’s a massive overreaction. There’s informed, logical criticism and there’s people just posting nonstop negative shite that is posted as if it’s a fact when it’s just people’s opinions
  16. Got some disgusting fans on here and in the real world. I’m absolutely fine with Howe being criticised. There are lots of things to criticise this season even though I’m still Howe in and think we’ll be a completely different side again next season if he stays. I think his major failing has been overplaying certain players earlier in the season to the point that they’re flagging now. His other major failing is not integrating Wolte effectively. However, the way some people are talking about him is vile. Criticism is fine, calling him worse than shit and that he hasn’t got an idea what he’s doing is embarrassing and you should stop supporting us if that’s the level of support and critical reasoning you have. Fucking excrement literally pouring out of every other post on here

    Nick Woltemade

We didn’t even overpay. We paid for a lad that is continuing to develop, and who already has some really strong attributes. He’s got quite a unique game and with some more coaching he can become an extremely good player. If we sell him it’s a huge indictment on us and not him, in my opinion

    Nick Pope

This lad knows how to load up the lowlights reel
  19. Those arsenal fans, such losers to a man and woman
  20. I don’t have the energy or desire to engage in a debate about this so this will be my last post on this. However, there’s ample evidence of Eddie not playing players in the past that are in their first season at the club for reasons other than “not liking them”. I would like to see Woltemade on the pitch, I’d like to see him playing as striker but you deciding Eddie doesnt like him rather than he may not trust him, he may not think he works with certain players, he may need more time etc is an example of you using bias and a lack of critical thinking to support your beliefs
  21. You can’t just make stuff up in your head and then say it’s logic
  22. Best not to try to engage in logic with Andycap. It’s not his medium
