Yep. Rushed and direct in the final third + static players, resulting in our players getting isolated very easily and running into traffic if we try to counterattack. We played well on the whole today, but these players aren't coached into a style which will get the best out of them.

He's not playing in his correct position.

He is saying that we can use that to attack them on the wings. And that we should try to keep possession and attack them. That seems very positive and correct to me. Attacking on the wings for us usually amounts to little more than a hurried ball into the box as soon as we enter the final third. Not my idea of positive.

Last minute winner against WBA, outclassed at Spurs and fluked a 1-0 win, no idea against Stoke and 1-0 down until they lost the plot, we did what everybody else has dine this season and beat that shower from Old Trafford and then we have to listen to Pardew telling us he knew all along it was just the Europa League and injuries that held us back last season. Utter nonsense. Cabaye and Krul injured today, aye, it's the FA Cup, Premier League match they'd be out there. Shola starting again this season. Just f*** o** Pardew. p*ss off man you joker. Yeah well it's we fickle fans who create all the hype and expectations and double standards. I like Ben Arfa but he's a surplus to our requirements when we already have Sissoko and Gouffran and I don't see who we could drop from the team to accomodate him. Shola was playing well when we were on our winning streak and does offer us something different upfront. Sad but true. Hate how Pardew is failing to realise the potential of our best team in a decade. A bit hyperbolic, considering the results over the past two months. The fact he can't accommodate our most talented player should say a lot. Can't argue with the results at the moment, but our style of play is not befitting some of the talent we have at our disposal, and that will probably prevent us from really challenging like we should this season.
