Just buy Ekitike, or another striker to accompany Isak this season. Short of an absolutely over the top offer for isak, I'm still convinced he's hear come September. It's completely up to the club where it goes after that, we're now at the point where it's 'put their money where their mouth is' and strengthen the squad so we can compete/challenge, or start sliding backwards by losing key players.

Well yes I get that, but the release clause is there for a reason. More often than not, offering below it is going to get laughed at (unless the player isn't actually worth the clause cost or you're City). Don't know, just doesn't seem very productive to me.

I mean...he has been let down in a way because he couldn't have been more clear about how important he felt it was to do business early and it hasn't happened.
