What do yous think of Celtic away to Astana of Kazakhstan tonight? They are 11/5 to win, 5/4 DNB, 3/1 to be winning at HT are the ones sticking out to me. Astana drew all three home group games in the CL, so DNB probably the safest option. But surely Brendan can't fuck up in Europe again and lose against these lot?

I'd get Lallana, Wilshere and Vardy all on at HT for Sterling, Dier (or Kane or Alli depending on system) and Sturridge. Wish we could use 4 subs to get rid of Hart.

This is f***ing brilliant. In Croatia niw, absolute scenes. Flares everywhere, couple of hundred singing god knows what. Unreal atmosphere and im pretending to be one of them with a red and white checked cap. Its as if theyve won the entire bloody tournament.

Pretty pointless comment, but met a Russian in Croatia tonight and been on the straight vodkas with him all night. He is ashamed of the hooligans but reckons it was always going to happen as the English think they can rule the city they visit and their hooligans don't stand for that in Russia so took the hatred to France. Thinks the WC will be fine as the politicians and power within Russia/FIFA will prevent any significant hooligan issues.

Germany do not look like a side that will be challenging to win this tournament. Early days, so they will only get better I suppose but from their first game and 3/4 they aren't anywhere near world class like previously.
