  1. Excellent point, however we were shocking for 45 minutes and that cannot be forgotten. We must improve defensively and never just sit back, the second half has proved we scare teams. Anita is never a midfielder, looks much more comfortable at full back so hopefully he can stay there when Tiote is fit. Marveaux proved he shouldn't start for us in the league, give him a chance to 'settle' against the likes of Maritimo but not at Goodison. Great to see Cabaye playing those types of balls again, just what we need and Ba was on fire.
  2. Barfa 2-1 100/1, all over that!
  3. There's a tram that goes to the Stadium. 20 minute journey iirc. Thats champion if so like. Be spending the day in Victoire all day then a tram upto the ground News to me, we'll be lucky to make it to London on the megabus. :jones: :jones: Ignore that post, 20 quid return on the train for anyone that wants to book it. Leave Wednesday morning, fly at 15.30 two nights in hotel, get back to gatwick at 19.30 and get the 22.00 train on the Friday all for 197 quid.
  4. Had someone shouting we hate cockneys, we support local team etc etc to a fellow Mag at arsenal away as he was from London. Slating him for about 15 minutes before this lad turned around and kicked off. Stewards and police warned the tosser from Newcastle and he was quiet from then on. No point really. He paid 40 quid aswell or whatever so leave him alone. For all he knew he could've went to every match.
  5. Uruguay let me down for 100 quid, tossers!
  6. That's expensive as fuck for Bordeaux if it doesn't include at least 1 night in a hotel IMO.
  7. I'm booked up for Brugge. Ferry to Amsterdam return 70 quid, train to Brugge runs every 30 minutes, hotel for 26 quid 1.5 mile from the ground. Train single is 40 euro so I guess a return will be about 60 euro. So looking at around 130-150. Booking Bordeaux within the next few weeks. Can't wait! Edit: main reason for avoiding hull is my old man doesn't like the sound of having to drive home from hull, much more convenient being in the north east. Only an extra couple of hours onto the journey going via Amsterdam.
  8. Can't book anything until tomorrow so hopefully prices don't go sky high for Brugge. Bordeaux is awkward to get to from Newcastle.
  9. Fuck sake. If that's true then I am praying Bordeuax is away late October, the early November or December games as those are the only three I can get off work. No chance of me going to Maritimo, in the middle of bastard no where and will cost a fortune.
  10. This is going to be the longest hour of my life waiting for these dates Can't stop smiling and singing songs to myself like an absolute psycho.
  11. Played very well last night, and you could see his confidence building as the game went on. Just wish we'd sign Debuchy as I think Obertan would be 10x more confident with a good right back behind him in both attacking and defending. Definitly good enough to be a squad player for us, but still short of starting in the PL imo unless an injury occurs.
  12. Any where in countries like France, Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium please. Will be relatively priced compared to shit places like Russia. Is it wrong for me to be extremely excited for this? Hardly slept all night waiting to see who we get. Europe

  14. I had a look on the stadium plan and it looks like the East Stand, 2 blocks of Gallowgate corner and lower Milburn is all but sold out. The rest of the Gallowgate seems 3/4 full and SJH quite empty. Not a great way to work it out but i'd guess 25,000, and obviously the pay on the gate will hopefully bring it near to if not over 30,000.
  15. Can't wait for this game. First time in a few years i'll be sat in the Gallowgate since my ST is in the clouds. Just wish people would bother their arse if they have a few quid but just been Bank Holiday and payday for majority is Friday won't do us any favours. Probably be about 23,000 there. Going for a 3-0 win.

  19. Managed to get an away goal and avoid defeat, can't really complain and I fully expect us to score at least 2 goals against these next week which will be enough to see us through. Tavernier looked pretty shit if i'm honest, but i'm being nice and going to say he was shitting his kegs and it's too soon. Gosling and Obertan were their usual selves...useless. Amalfitano looked very sharp when he came on and deserves to start ahead of Obertan next week. Campbell looked quick and interested, would like to see him play upfront with Shola next week if he's fit. Anita and Bigi looked steady and love to get the ball out of their feet and spread the play all over the pitch, great to see.

  21. Didnt realise I stuck £10 on Birmingham, Ipswich and Coventry aswell, so not too bad. Should have a little profit.
  22. £30 on Brum/Cardiff @ HT pays £87 inc stake. Also put £50 on Plymouth before K.O EDIT: Fuck off Cardiff, fuck off betting. As it stands lost £90 in 4 days. Hate football season me
  23. Can't wait for this draw to be made! Praying the 2nd leg is away from home but not in a shit place like Russia or Turkey.
  24. Used to call Reading, Reading (as in reading a book). Thick little spastic what I was.
