Pre-Season 2018/19: Newcastle United 0 - 1 FC Augsburg (FT)

Watch out which airport you're flying into..I was going to book up but decided £120 all in for 24 hours (Mainz match) wasnt worth it. Frankfurt international is close to Frankfurt and has trains to Mainz. Frankfurt Hahn is no where near Frankfurt and there's a lot more restricted travel to/from. Think it's just buses only and no trains. Sure you're all over it, but just in case. Enjoy anyway sounds quality! -
All the other thousands of terminally ill kids must be thinking why can't I have all of this? It's horrible what happened to him and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but why is every club so concerned? They should all be doing their bit for as many of their own rather than all this attention on Bradley Lowery.

I will happily do it again and try to retain my title.

14/1 for relegation at this moment in time seems a cracking price. It's pre-season, they have no manager, lost half their squad, the other half are either shit or probably want out. I might have some black and white tinted specs on but they'll surely be closer to the drop than play offs?

Anybody going to Mainz? Debating booking up but for less than 24 hours - arrive 09:55 depart 06:30 the following morning. Thinking is it worth it for such a small space of time/just a friendly -
Definitely putting £5-£10 on them to be relegated. 14/1 last time I checked!

Not so long ago we were putting up with Pancrate, Marveuax and Obertan as back up wingers or even starting wingers. Don't see how anybody can question this signing for such a small fee. He is a decent player, certainly good enough to step in when required in the PL. £6m is nothing these days and he's a tricky, skilful winger that will cause a few problems. Agree that he should be backup, though rather than a starter - which will be the case considering Rafa didn't even play him every week in the Championship.

Not sure what I expect of this Chelsea side, so many changes but still some quality players in there. Avoiding like the plague.

I think I'd need at least a week off work. London and then the town would be bouncing for days and days!

The aim of the Championship is promotion to the Premier League, not to go up as champions (of course it's an added bonus). We are both promoted so taking our black and white tinted glasses off I'd say it's not actually that crazy to not be live on TV. Sky will see the relegation battle as three "Premier League greats" (well two, not so much Birmingham) battling to stay up. Relegation could cripple them. Makes sense imo and if I were a neutral I'd rather watch a battle for something that means a lot.

It'll be the busiest game of the season - we aren't on UK or foreign TV and have a chance of winning the league. If it was me id be getting there for 11am at the latest as there will be a few thousand minimum planning on going more than likely. Luckily i got a ticket before they sold out - can't wait!

Up there with the best games I have been to, and definitely one of the happiest. Unbelievable day from start to finish!

Love watching Spurs this season. Quality footballers and play some very good attacking, free flowing football.

Juventus are the best 'all rounded' team in Europe, imo. Quality defence, solid midfield and some excellent attacking play. hopefully either them or Monaco win this.

Give over man. He needed to buy players whilst everyone was strengthening and he wasn't allowed to. This is LC and MA's fault. Bollocks. People need to get out of Rafas arse. His tactics have been woeful for months and this squad is a lot better than pretty much every side in this division. He's equally to blame, as are the players.
