  1. The way on the ball he'd launch his upper body forward to half a yard ahead of the ball, then drag it through the gap he'd made to break past a tackle. Did/does anyone else play like that?
  2. Will explain that, was a bit blunt. Thee aren't just 'people wha agree with you' and 'people who hold a postion you assign them' Peace out
  3. There aren't two camps There aren't any fucking camps
  4. Or it's better than previous - talking about the weekend at work on Monday morning and not bothering to cover football results with makems cos there was no comparison to be made and you likley sound like a patronising cunt if you bring up a decent win in league 1 or whatever. Bit of fun to be had now
  5. Hull had 20 and stayed up by 1...
  6. Would have been shite seeing them make a start like this if we were somehow still circling the drain under Ashley. But that's not how things are
  7. Are you saying those who welcome back the derby are...nope. I'm lost. What are you saying?
  8. Hull Ciy 2008. 6 wins in first 9 games. 2 more wins all season, scraped enough to stay up (at our expense)
  9. He's gone for the line to cross with his left noticeably more often in the last few games. And the crosses have been decent. Less predictable overall and still threatening when he plays the weaker option instead of cutting inside. Man in form.
  10. He's done it against everyone for us mind. 23/24 didn't he score against every one of the 'big 6'? Brilliant tonight, seems to be in good nick, let's hope he keeps it up
  11. Much stronger reactions to this kind of stuff all round lately I would say. Reckon a few are rattled. Marra.
  12. Assumed it was a wind up for bites. Picked up a decent haul as well
  13. Few things around that game specifically... He came with a struggling team (stats back this up from end of last season, table backs this up this season); with a new manager who appears likely to challenge the team to play very differently - admittedly they are a work in progress on that front; and add in that this was a return to his old club where he would be looking to make a good impression after seeing his personal reputation grow a lot since leaving. Probably fair to give him a pass on that game. Maybe also the fact that our midfield gave him such a hard time could be taken as acknowledgement of the fact that they know he could make things happen if he got going. Last thing, even without getting the results and points we hoped for so far this season, we are hard to play through and don't give up many chances.
  14. Richard Masters is apparently asking PL lawyers to look into fair market value of Isak transfer
  15. That's more or less what I feel. Quite honestly the ill will to Isak is there but maybe not so strong as the longstanding ill will towards his new club.
  16. Wonder what needs to happen to trigger all of the add-ons. Qualify for champs league, play xx games, score xx goals, win something? Would anyone want the club to miss out on 10-15 mil to see none of that happen?
  17. Yeah thanks I now have a permanent facial tick from listening to how he simply refused to renew his contract at his boyhood club
  18. This is all seasoning to the feast to come. Don't lower yourselves man. Sunderland having a great start to the campaign and rightly lifting the spirits of their long-suffering fans is delicious. A 10 point season would only have been fun for a few weeks. This will be a classic well into the spring. Enjoy it!
  19. Goals&Assists&Vibes = Waldemurphy
  20. Is Barry Fry available to piss on him?
  21. Whatever will we do without a proper number 9
  22. No clues taken from Wednesday gone? I'm hoping Gordon stays wide as he can do more damage there, and the two Brazilians take turns getting ahead of Woltemade
  23. Big day for big Nick tomorrow Shrugs off lauded Arsenal centre half number one to assist Gordon early on Shrugs off lauded Aresnal centre half number two, and megs a fullback, to assist Elanga just before half time Unaffected by the attentions of both lauded Arsenal centre halves as he wriggles free of them to score from range late in the game The Woltemade era begins Brought to you by San Miguel and Shiraz
  24. Woeful is too much. https://www.whoscored.com/matches/1946110/livestatistics/england-league-cup-2025-2026-newcastle-bradford Pick a line, any line and defend 'woeful'. Or not!
