Aye but he said it would be 'easy'. If he thinks a club who have just came up from the conference can easily earn promotion from League 1 then he's in for a shock. This time you're right. They'd have to somehow skip a division for that to be remotely possible.

I've been saying that since 19fucking72. National Treasure my arse.

We do 0.5%, but if you're happy, that's fine. Up-front charges, lock-ins? Just a heads-up.
-
I can't imagine a situation where that would be the case. Probs OK for auto-enrolment but that'd be your employer's choice. Off the top of my head with no further information Lack of investment choice, mostly. Oh dear I was told there high risk investment pension was one of the best on the market Taking that at face value, there are no guarantees on any of these things. High risk is just that, but it suits some people if they can stomach the possible losses. I'd need to do shitloads of paperwork and forms to get you into the right place, but mates' rates and that. I gave all my info to a bloke at a company called St James place (I think its called that) about 2 months ago and I'm still waiting to here from him so it must be a bit of a mine field. Ah, reet. From what I've heard of them, check the charges and the lock-ins. Some of their guys are OK, but by no means all of them. Good luck, man.

Well defined contribution to the thread newsted A pensions joke. I didn't think they existed.

Why is the sunderland thread locked?

Ah'm gannin full apoplectic if people don't stop talking about pensions. It's the weekend man! I should be able to have a day off. Yes, no, maybe. There's your answers.

Imma gonna go for option 2.

You kicking off again? Remember how that ended last time? For the record he's into baseball anyway.

Top two were in the top division those seasons. Newcastle weren't. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948%E2%80%9349_Football_League#Final_league_tables I wasn't there, but I'm led to believe we were.

I predict spurting. Looking forward to tomorrow and asking work mackem if he's got his fucking wad ready to pay us all out. I can't believe so many piled on. That'll cost the fucker. Man, Rafa always had this.

I love someone who is a bit like Greal.

Oh, I so should have quoted your overexcited post for posterity but you deleted it. Goddamn. It was a lush finish, like, but I'd draw the line before that.

Can imagine the dense twat saying it just like that.

10th August 2007 I've been banging on about this ever since, but, you know, people are thick. Not gonna go into the massively stupid things people en masse have done in that time, just join the dots.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League
newsted replied to Figures 1-0 Football's topic in Football
Oi! Half a dozen of us at work care, we bet the mackem that they'd go down and we'd be champions. They've done their bit, but we've slipped up. Goddamn it, he's gonna be like £60 up. Sweetens the bitter pill for him, but that 3 game slip and Chrissy's team being relentless, Jesus. Should have just said promotion. He would have taken that. -
I was just thinking yesterday, it's not often you get a (primarily) defensive midfielder winning player of the season. It just shows how exceptional he is at it. It's only been 2 seasons but I'm pretty sure he's peaked harder than Makelele did. Lesta lass was saying earlier in the season when I was asking her what had gone wrong that the standing joke was that two thirds of the earth's surface was covered by water. He's got the fucking rest. I liked that.

Pardon my forrinness, but what in the f*** is that? I'm not a forrin and I have no idea what he's talking about. There was an episode of a 70's sitcom, based in Newcastle, about 2 blokes. One bloke tried to avoid the match score all day, only to be told by his wife, as he was settling down to watch Match of the Day, that it wasn't worth it as there were no goals. This isn't quite right. Bob and Terry sit down to watch it on TV but the figure skating is on instead as the match had been postponed. Abandoned due to fog, as they were driving past a tv shop Terry sees 'England F....' and they spend the rest of the day trying to avoid the score but trying to work out what the 'F' might have stood for. Nah, man, England Flooded Out. Waterlogged pitch, innit. I think it was a newspaper headline too.

No it f***ing wasn't. Don't listen to him. It was the A side of T. V. Stars. Albert Tatlock
