Absolutely. We need to do our part as fans too. Eddie and the team are doing their bit to enshrine a winning mentality at the club, the owners and directors are doing their bit to aim high. It’s time we do our bit and stop expecting the worst, expecting to fail, expecting players to get injured when on England duty, expecting our best players like Bruno to leave as soon as they’ve got here. We need to have the same positivity and winning mentality to complement the transformation that’s going on at the club. It’s time to be positive.

They’ve also conceded loads from set pieces and we’re great at them now

We need to stop worrying about what they could do to us and concentrate on why they should be worrying about us. We’re not Ashley’s club any more.

It’s mainly the latter. Certain sections of the media and many fans of other clubs love to peddle the narrative that we are deluded and don’t deserve/ shouldn’t strive for better. They are scared and want to keep us small and also very jealous of the energy we can generate when we have an ambitious ownership who match our own desire.

He quite clearly does nowt except delegate while he sits on his ass. Has done for years. It’s not even keeping a club ticking over, he just turns up and thinks that’s enough. Fraud.

I cannot for the life of me understand, with one iota of my soul, why some people are already talking about him leaving and losing him to Real Madrid (apart from Tomlynn WUMington obvs). Can you not enjoy this ride for one minute and have some belief in our own project? We’ve not been bought by Barry Fuckwit, a local carpet magnate or some American hedge fund. We’re owned by some serious players who want European success. We should be dreaming of who we are going to buy with the same class as Bruno, not talking about when we’re going to lose him.
