    Rafa Benítez

It's very very difficult to get a visa to enter China right now and even if you do you have to quarantine for 14 days. If he's here and working it basically means he cannot see his family at all, they can't come here, he can't go there. If you choose to live in China then you're essentially cut off from your family for the foreseeable future unless you're willing to leave and not come back. That'll take it's toll and I believe that's the reason he chose to go.
  2. Jesus, can you imagine what Sammer would make of Bruce's 'training' sessions?
  3. I want to believe you, and I want you to be right, god knows I do, but it's very much like the boy that cried wolf. Because of the inane 3PM stuff etc, I don't give credence to anything you say. Sorry. That’s fine mate, I’d be the same but again, the s**** patter aside, I would never, ever, wind people up on here just for kicks intentionally. Not on matters like this. WE all want this, we all need this, as fans, as a region/city/forum etc. Even the most sceptical, the real wind up merchants, because at the end of the day this is our only club and we want the same thing, our club back, a club to be proud of we can enjoy and support win lose or draw with some fu king pride and love thrown in. I desperately want my boys to be part of what we have all been part of before Ashley, especially my youngest who i may lose to f***ing Arsenal and who has been scouted by our club 3 times in a year and truthfully right now, it’s the last place I’d want him to be at. Fingers crossed this happens soon and I think it will, and it genuinely appears those really involved are fighting for this to paraphrase KK and I’d love it, love it, we all would. Could this legal breakthrough be anything to do with a letter that Ashley’s legal team have got hold of that states by Dominic Rabb that the British Government see PIF and the Saudi state as separate entities and that in the meeting with the Premier League the Government said they were in favour of the Saudi takeover and investment in the North East and that they were concerned about outside intervention in the ODT process from other competitors i.e teams and broadcasters. And that Qatar actually contacted Dominic Rabb and were told politely to stay out of the process. Don’t know if it’s true but that is something I have heard. I like the way its gone from 'there's no outside influence on the O&D test, Qatar is not influencing the process' to 'Well, Qatar are getting what they want so this might go through now'.

It's a laugh I suppose but I can't really enjoy it that much because the state of football in the NE is just sad. If we were actually competing with each other then it'd be grand but they're fucked and we're fucked and it's just not funny.
  5. And he still didn't give us his assessment of Bacon Boy
  6. I'd like to hear people answer the question that I put - in practical terms, who do you want for the job, that would realistically take it in the current situation? The only suggestions I've come across on the last few pages are the current coach of a youth team in San Diego, and 'any kunt'. Which perhaps amounts to the same thing. Warren Barton. Now let's hear your assessment of Bruce.
  7. The Chronicle podcast with Warren Barton this week is worth a listen. The second half basically sounds like a job interview the way he's almost touting himself for it. I'd take him right now, like.

    Lee Charnley

'Hi Lee. Aye, was shit wasn't it? Anyway, two steak bakes, four cheese and onion, a doner with extra chili sauce........
  9. Thread title 'Bacon Dust' plz
  10. Someone should probably ask him why he's got a skull on his shelf though.
  11. So what's the hidden clues in this tweet? Ginger lemon could refer to Colback.
  12. I'm actually pleased for him. He's obviously not got the body for it anymore but his heart's still there. Least he got one more for us before he's off to the glue factory.
  13. Spot on, it's pathetic the argument about this. Everyone should within reason accept some else's point of view, rather than attack it. Like a bunch of kids arguing over nothing. Says you
  14. Willems please. Good player and seems to have a spot on attitude.
  15. It's not the buying of the club that's the problem, they could buy it tomorrow if they wanted to. It's getting the license to play in the PL that's stalling it.
  16. Easy, lads, we'll send him over his post quota by the end of January if we're not careful.
  17. If this NCSL campaign was all legal and airtight it wouldn't be needed, we already have one of those. Their remit is clearly to keep this in the public eye, publically put pressure on in a way the 'official' legal team are unable to. These lads are doing a job, it's just another facet to the overall strategy.
  18. Regarding the FA picking the third member of the panel for arbitration, could this not work in our favour? If, as has been alluded to, the government are keen to get this takeover done then they're able to hold a lot more sway with the FA than they are with the PL (a private organisation). The PL might be able to just give Boris the finger and do what they want but that's not really the case for the FA.
