  1. If this means the Big 6 will do off to the ESL, bring it on. Devil is in the detail, but it looks significantly better at first glance?
  2. Its the constant coverage in the press and comments by Radcliffe which is causing so much aggro IMO. He'd do well stop these interviews and just getting on with the job.
  3. What's the general consensus from Man United fans on Ten Hag and how the clubs performing? Granted I don't watch every game, but you always seem to be miles off it and grab a result. It feels like someone will give you an absolute hiding soon.
  4. Sensational today from start to finish. Eddie Howe - Tactics spot on. Spurs didn't play well, but we pressed them much like the PSG game. Touch tight. Followed them everywhere. Defensively we've improved 10 fold since that West Ham game. We look more like ourselves from last season. Burn and Schar have been imperious as a pair. Midfield balance seems so much better with Anderson in there. I love Willock, but can't help feel like he doesn't fit into how we want to play in the future. Bruno will absolutely get a yellow against Palace . Longstaff had a much better game today. I'm not sure what Anderson will develop in too, but he's an absolute powerhouse. The front three were fantastic throughout. There's goals littered across them and we'll punish some teams if they start the remaining games. Special mention to the camera footage of those kids celebrating with those special shirts on. Encapsulates football and the feeling it gives us all. Spurs? Shite.
  5. Feels like Man United are consistently shite and get away with it.
  6. Pleased for him today. Didn't really notice him, which is probably a good thing. Just efficient at what he does.
  7. 15 minutes onwards is absolute gold! "I'VE GIVEN UP £30 AN HOUR OVERTIME TODAY!"
  8. For all the knackers like Exile and so on I can't help but like this bloke Wincey and Raymondo's Grill
  9. Agree regarding Schar. On the point of pace, you're absolutely right that we lack pace at the back. I do think its a two part issue though and we defintely need to address that in the summer. However, losing Pope has ruined our press IMO. His sweeping really helped the back 4s lack of pace. We're dropping slightly deeper yet still trying to press and its exposing the lack of pace in midfield. On the game itself though, a few things I noticed That felt a bit like Forest away last season. Sets us up nicely for a good run to end the season#. Longstaff needs hooked. His confidence looks utterly shocked. Takes too long releasing the ball. Murphy is really poor, but his directness is effective. Comfortably Isak's best game for us. Him dropping deep and linking up play was brilliant. Barnes out to inward runs should be a dream for Bruno if we can move him up the pitch Dubravka's starting position is a major issue. He's way too deep. Chuffed for Eddie Howe, that felt like a big game for him.
  10. Really happy for Howe yesterday. After the 3rd I was beginning to question him & whether it was beginning to go West. Subs forced his hands to an extent, but everyone of them is playing for him. Reassuring to see him take ownership of the Kratth substitution as well.
  11. VAR and the officiating is absolutely ruining the game for me now like. Just totally shite.
  12. A bit of a rogue shout (Feel free to shoot me down). If we're stilll needing to box-clever this summer would Rodrigo Muniz at Fulham be a shoult? 7 in 17 in the PL this season, 22yo and a different type of player to Isak. I don't he's started a bucket load neither as Jiminez was the starter.
  13. It all feels very amateurish. The public courting of Ashworth, asking for public money for the stadium and comments regarding Greenwood. The self-entitlement that people should just roll over for this 'institution'. Do your business behind closed doors. Put up or shut up.
  14. I don't know if anyone else noticed a slight tweek last night. Bruno seemed to sit a tad deeper and didn't press whilst our CBs pushed up really aggressively. Felt like it really cut the distanced between our usual flat midfield set up and defence.
  15. It wouldn't though? We don't have a no6 and he would do a solid job for half a season.
  16. Does it though? We're run the right way nowadays and if they get an offer they can't refuse then we'll sell. But if selling one player opens the door to a couple more players then it does make sense. FFP is rubbish however.
  17. He's 29 with 2.5 years left on his deal. Might be the last time we get the opportunity to get a decent fee considering his age. With him almost being here 5 years would any sale really open the books in terms of ability to spend? Love the lad, but could fetch a reasonable fee.
  18. After days of stressing about the game it turned out to be a waste of time. They're nothing. For all the "We'd give PSG a game" & "Hume will smash Gordon".... They're feeble. The gap was enormous. It'll only get bigger. We'll get bigger. They'll languish and pretend they're footballs good guys. Honestly, that was as routine as it gets. It's a shame it wasn't 10. They'll spend tonight under a weird comfort blanket and its quite frankly fantastic. I hope the future haunts them. They're a fart in the wind.
  19. ESL is much worse. It's nothing more than a way to bypass FFP and generate unlimited cash. Footballs morals went a long time ago but this is a load of rubbish. Real Madrid claiming "The good of football" is absolute tosh. If anything, this put's pressure on scrapping of FFP. Reality is the "Super League" already exists in the form of the Premier League.
  20. If we ever entertained the idea of any other competition other than the PL and that's me firmly checked out.
  21. Caught up with Dan Burn Fozcast episode yesterday and he touched out how Sandro can speak really good English these days. Hopefully this will help him settled into the area during his ban and immerse himself in the team / understand our tactical approach.
  22. Completely mixed emotions after that. I love this team and manager so much it's hard to have anything other than pride. The injuries is the sickner for me. We've been completely hamstrung for large parts of the season and shafted with draws in domestic & European competitions. We've still performed admirably and took it to the last game. The players, Eddie and the Club will have learned a load through this.
