That thing he did in the second half where he either ducked under the ball or decided to play sunday morning football was bizarre. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he knew what he was doing but only just
-
Sorry but he needs to take some flak for this run of results, team uninspired and clueless. No motivation, no energy no idea
-
I actually cant think of a worse team than us, Palace - No, West Ham - No, Swansea - Maybe
-
He still scuffed it though. Can't kick a ball
-
:lol:I hate most of the people on this thread Why the hell do you do this? Seriously?
-
Please, just fuck off
-
Turning his back for the second had me fuming. It’s a bag of air not a cannonball you soft tvvat
-
Never, ever a pen. Are people saying there was sufficient contact to knock him over? Bollox!!!
-
I saw that, it was for member of the match. Im sure you win something. Donnay socks and a badders racquet

He personally relegated Sunderland AFC in the late seventies despite not kicking a ball by the cunning plan of finishing his game ten minutes later than the Wearsiders. Sunderland lost 2-0 where his team Coventry drew with Bristol City. If Sunderland had've won they'd have stayed up regardless. Proof that he did indeed personally relegate them. Not as simple as that. He asked for the match to have a delayed KO because of trouble that Coventry fans had getting to the game. It was delayed by 15 minutes. The Sunderland game could have and should have been delayed, or at least the 2nd half should have been. Coventry and Bristol City were drawing 2-2 when the Sunderland game finished. A draw was the only result that would have sent Sunderland down, Both Coventry and Bristol would have sent the other team down instead of Sunderland had they won. Coventry played out the final 15 minutes by playing it across the back (It’s also said that Bristol didn’t attempt to gain the ball off them). It was investigated by the FA, however Jimmy Hill happened to be on the FA board as well and refused to sit out of the investigation. Aye before the time when every game was televised unfortunately. Would have been hilarious to watch

Yeah, he either didn't pay or they agreed to leave before it came back to his round I reckon
-
Or at least significant progress has been made. To me, and granted I may be reading too much into it, her having a new bottle of whatever is like a 'let me buy you a little something as a thanks' which is kind of a thing with big agreements personally agreed. She could buy a bottle anywhere...so to me that's a gift. I’d love to be able to believe that but we all know if it was from Ashley it would be a half bottle of blue nun
-
I think there is a lot of brinkmanship at the moment, they know it's Ashley's best time to sell so I imagine they are waiting to see who blinks first
-
Vardy, mahrez and gray will tear us a new one here I’m afraid 0-3
-
Just seen that, never a pen, clear dive. Absolute shocker and he should be banned but doubt he will be
-
If he demands a big profit and doesn’t sell there will be hell on. If he really wants rid and as he has said will stand aside for someone willing to spend money he will be hated even more if his greed gets in the way. I can’t see how he will be in a better position to sell than now
-
I reckon we will get dry bummed here like.
-
Not quite sure how those two tie up but I'll go with it

Much as Benitez has his strong points to he needs to stop saying the squad is shit and not good enough for this league and how he wanted to sign players but couldn’t, from a psychological perspective that is a powerful statement. If your boss says I wanted better people because you aren’t good enough but couldn’t get them, but it’s not my fault, you would be livid and pissed off and it would affect your performance
-
I don't know about that, the club is worth less without him so from a business perspective it would be stupid to get rid of him or force his hand to leave. Imagine the scenario, Benitez walks, how much is NUFC worth?
-
I think Benitez holds a lot of the cards here. He is a huge asset, we will be less valuable without him, we are much more likely to be relegated without him, the supporters love him. He is actually adding value to the club He can and is exerting pressure
-
I can see Rondon being a handful, we just don't create enough for me to be optimistic I'm afraid and when we do I don't have confidence that we will finish them
-
WTF I've just moved to Brixton, f*** off Mike. When he kicks on your front door, how you gonna come? With your hands on your head or on the trigger of your gun? I cannot read this in any other way than one big euphemism. When the law break in, how you gonna go, shot down on the pavement or living in death row
-
Didn't Douglas take a pop at them the other day? I mean like full blown assault on the club like they did. he is vindictive and petty so will likely ban the journalists from the club

I hate it when I see that there has been loads of posts and get a bit excited that there might be news only to discover someone has proffered an opinion which generates traffic...... like this post
