I'm wondering whether behind the scenes Spurs are in some sort of financial situation where they needed to get rid of a few high earning players who they don't really need. Don't really think anyone 'wins' in the January window. It really is terrible. I can't see why there shouldn't just be one window (the Summer one). There's no need for this one.
