Bruce and Pardew come up a lot on Undr the Cosh interviews.

Most say Pardew fancied himself ("chocolate, if he could eat himself he would do") etc but generally there's fairly positive comments although nobody absolutely raving about him being brilliant etc.

Can remember a fair few who don't like Bruce. Themes are that he won't pull players and explain why they're not playing and that he relies on his assistants to do everything, most say Eric Black or Clemence etc are good and Bruce doesn't do much.

Theres quite a funny story on the Rowan Vine one where Bruce gives Phil Brown at Hull Vine's number and tells him to call him and see if he wants to go on loan there, without discussing the prospect of a loan move with Vine at all first. So Vine, being a bit of a dick and not very happy, gives his mate who's a plumber Bruce's number and tells him to call Bruce and see if he wants any plumbing done on the basis of "give my number out, I'll give yours out". Apparently Bruce was raging that this guy was ringing and texting constantly seeing if he wanted a new downstairs toilet or whatever

Tbf I bet his soil stack is absolutely horrific.

Does anyone at all think clubs will end up being allowed to spend what they want ever again?

Im quite interested in what people think might happen once Masters collapses

Certainly hope not. Id hate to see NUFC just blow a billion+ up the wall. Soulless and detached very quickly. But we shouldn't be at the whim of the traditional 'big' clubs either. Nothing new there I know but it makes me feel better repeating it.

The idea of being allowed to spend the same as the highest revenue club seems good.

Who do people think the best villain has been in the premier league era?

I don’t mean truly awful individuals but those who absolutely play up to the role (or try to).

Klopp thinks he is being a clever antagonist but he is in reality just a poor human being.

for me it’s 100% Jose as a manager and probably Vinny Jones as a player

    Catts for me like.

The bloke is beyond the pale, like. Spent two years cryarsing about not being respected, whilst concurrently spending two years putting the minimum amount of effort into the cause, before being rewarded with an eye-watering financial windfall. Then when he's finally called out, he gets the lawyers on the blower. Because of course he has. A true grifter for the ages.

Makes my blood boil tbh Yorks, I envy people that don't hold grudges.

Ajax were absolutely piss poor last night.

We've got a tricky route to the final now. Well, compared to the other route we could have got, anyway.

Think Emery is a massive trump card tbh. As much  as it would be nice to see someone else than LFC win it, I don't want you getting anymore money to spend. I'm not even sorry.

  6. I don't want him to go, but I want him to go for his deserved reward. The motivation it will give him will likely propel his development on even faster.
