What are the other pictures he's posted? Any sign of sprinting or a ball he'll be in full training early next month at the latest.
-
He's so comfortable on the ball, makes us hard to press against with him in there because he very rarely gives it away, some of the patterns between, him, Trips, Bruno and Schar are going to be class. Move that a little further up the pitch to included whoever is playing RW and CF and we'll shred teams at times.

I thought he was excellent until about 65 mins when he tired massively, which is understandable after the shift he put in. Get Osula up to speed, Wilson and Miley back. Then when we have days where we expend so much energy, we have enough to not have to keep players on longer than they should be.
-
1st time I've watched him play, outside of highlights. Based off this, I'd be fuming if we'd paid 35mil.
-
Doesn't change that he got it wrong in the 1st place. Praise for turning it around, but I'd much prefer we didn't get it wrong in the 1st place.

I absolutely love Eddie Howe, but I really hope he's learnt his lesson here. The starting line up was soo wrong. So glad we've turned it round, but we can't bench Barnes and Tonali. Willock is also banging on the door
-
All they're doing defensively is smoothering our left hand side because they're pretty confident they can easily deal with the right.
-
Willock or Tonali have to come on at HT
-
Shocking all round for the goal, but there is nothing in the attack on the right handside. Why not picking Barnes or Tonali is crazy.
-
Because Wilson has had 92 different injuries, Willock has had 1 with a few set backs. No even close to being the same
-
No way should we be comparing Willock to Wilson when it comes to injuries
-
This would be an exceptional signing, finally a second player that can play the 6, him a Bruno as a double pivot would be class and both can play the 8. IMO it would leave is with 5 top midfielders, 2 of which are champions league level, with the other 3 not really too far off that.
-
If it had been an injury that kept him out, there'd be an excuse. The best thing for him is game time, and from what I've seen he's looking sharp. So, get him in Eddie. Let the boy play
-
I genuinely believe that you if dropped that version of Ben Arfa into this team we would run close with the top 2.
-
I saw pulled put of the Sweden squad and thought it was Isak, reading this had made me realise it must have been Krafth.🤦🏿 I agree though we need Wilson back, and I've hoped for draws like Wimbledon I'm early cup games, so we have the chance to drop the likes of Sanusi and Osula in with most of the main guys and still have a great chance to go through.

We're always missing a key part or 2, last season key parts that were missing were different to the ones missing now. Last season we could still play out because Schar was always there, it made us harder the pin back like teams have done so far this season. Weirdly, even Dubravka helped with that, teams now have 3 triggers all in the same area of the pitch to act on. Schar being back will help, but teams will still press Pope and Burn, while trying to block to route to Schar when they have the ball. A GK that can clip a 30 yard pass to full backs would stop this, or Botman being back so Pope has 2 CBs that can split and Bruno drop in deep giving him 3 easy passes. That's what made us so good in the champions league form. That's before talking about the range of passing from Botman and Schar when the route into the midfield is blocked.

What!!?? He's also part of the reason we can't build attacks or keep the ball. All of him, Pope and Burn panic under any kind of press. Makes players not want to give them the ball, and it holds us back. If you like run, head and kick CBs then happy days for you, but we're beyond that as a team now.

I get those saying Tonali should have started, but after 10 months away from competitive football, if he started 2 games in a week and got an injury, everyone would be complaining. Got to play the long game.
