f*** knows who on here. Just I heard someone last night say something like "imagine how good we'd be if Carroll was still here". Really annoyed me, we would be much worse off because he's crap. Aye couple of blokes in the boozer yesterday produces some gems. Apparently our start to the season is 'alright' while his mate accepted it was 'OK'. There was also a moment when Ba had the ball and was surrounded by three defenders and he went backwards they shouted 'what are you doing man!? That's crap' I too was expecting a Messi-esque dribble and a finish from the edge of the box.

I hope we'll see Ben Arfa and Santon against Spurs. Need to really test ourselves that day, see how far or close we are from that kind of level. Problem is we dont want to seperate the best-ba and cabaye-tiote pairings, he can play on the left but with jonas just getting a new deal i rekon he will defo start also.... i'd quite happily split up the best-ba partnership when ben arfa and marveaux are fully fit. I wouldnt personally, i wud much rather play with two proper strikers and give them time to gel as a partnership, maybe for odd away games have just one up top and possibly barfa in-behind the striker however...

This is the type of game we struggle with normally, and aye if we want to push on into the top half of the table we should defo be winning against teams like QPR, whether they have loads of new players/owners etc to get excited about...

I think ppl are worrying too much about what QPR could do to us imo, i think they will fear us more than we will fear them. We need to see this as a game we should be looking to win, we have made a good start so far and i think if we are positive from the start and have a go at their crap defence, ther is no reason why we cant get 3 points from this...

They have brought plenty of players in, but most are second rate players imo, barton is the only real quality they have brought in....

The difference between Pardew and KK is that Pardew actually seemed to be mates with Ashley, and probably knew the details of how the club would be run/what the long term plans would be, before he took the job... Really cant see him walking to be honest, he just seems happy to be here in the first place...IMO of course

Assuming santon is our new LB, who would you play at RB, personally i wud say Raylor purely due to his crossing and free kick abilities. Wudnt say him or simmo are particularly good defenders but raylor is defo better going forward...
