Howe's achievement at Bournemouth deserves huge credit tbh. But his team's have never been great defensively which is a big worry, so I'm not convinced he's the man to keep us up. However, I will still support him and get behind the team if he gets the gig.
-
Doesn't he hate Fraser after refusing to play etc?
-
Yeah, he doesn't sound like the kind of manager that would turn down a job over wages at all. He would only take the job if he was in agreement over the structure and direction.
-
Eddie Howe would be so underwhelming after all this
-
If this is a no goer, we need to move on to our next target quickly. At the very latest, get somebody in during the international break.
-
Give him what he wants ffs, the cost of going down would be much greater
-
Eddie Howe joint favourite now with Emery.
-
There is no offer because he hasn't checked his inbox for the last few hours
-
Disagree. I think they all got it, but most were quite happy for us to be shite, and actually took pleasure in seeing the fans struggle on year after year.
-
Plus, he was always on a hiding to nothing, trying to follow on from Wenger's legacy.
-
They don't hound their managers out and give them personal abuse like the scum in the North East
-
Simon Jordan suggesting he isn't the right fit because he doesn't have the relegation battle experience Must be class being a professional WUM

Arsenal away in a few weeks

Expect nowt less from the EDL capital of Britain
-
Yup, they obviously have offered him big money to spend and build the squad. What is this sorcery!?
-
Absolutely buzzing at this mind

Bruce to Emery Like going from a Lada to a Ferrari
-
Big statement if we pull this off First they wash the stadium windows, then now they appoint Emery
-
Fons and Martinez back to 9/1 Emery 27/10
-
He's not British, so he's fair game in the eyes of the media.

We are expecting the new manager to perform a miracle if we delay much longer. We are already being cut adrift, and I don't expect anything against Brighton. I am fairly certain at this point, that their plan was Rafa from the start, but they had no backup for the exact situation we are in now...
-
Yup. We have 3 home games coming up which we should () see as winnable. We are already starting to see a gap forming above the bottom 3
-
Little risk to new signings imo, because they would be sold next summer if we go down. Get the right manager in place (assuming we aren't cut well adrift by then), players will still want to come here.
-
Absolutely. We haven't won a game all season and people are moaning when 0-0 against a title contender
-
Yeah, we don't want to think about winning cups at this stage Staying up is our only objective this season and Martinez has a shit record in the PL. I would support him if he comes in, but i would be far from optimistic about our prospects.
