I think he’s missed a lot of chances in the games he’s played this season and we’ve gone on to either lose or draw. It’s just made it easy for Howe to drop him whereas if he’d converted a few more of his chances (chances some on here would have had an aneurysm over if it was Gordon) he wouldn’t have given Howe the chance to.

A combination of whether DCL can continue to play all season and I don’t think all of the bottom 3 will continue to be as shit. If I’m honest though I didn’t realise the gap was 8 points I thought it was closer.

I don’t think it’ll happen but I hope Leeds stay up. They’re the best of the newly promoted clubs on the eye and their pressing was really good. It’s always easier to be nicer to the opposition after a victory mind but some of their play was to a really good level unlike some of the other shit the bottom half of the table produces.

I don’t think we’ve got enough goals in the team to not have Barnes playing. Whether it’s RW or rotating Gordon more he kind of has to he in the starting 11. I’m not sure any of our other players (maybe Wissa) has that selfish goal scorer instinct to try and shoot for the winner. I don’t think he’s grasped his chances up to now and made it easy for Howe to drop him at times but surely not any longer.

No one has successfully played more than one up front for probably a decade now. im not saying thats what you’re asking for but I think it’s crazy how often this gets suggested when there’s almost zero recent examples of a team doing it and being successful now. Pellegrini’s sort of 442 at City was probably the last one I can think of.

I think we get this done comfortably given the starting 11 and options from the bench.

Absolutely baffled Gordon is getting flak for not wanting to play as a RW. If he doesn’t feel like he’s comfortable there and Howe doesn’t think he’s going to effective what’s the problem? Like Howe has said Barnes is more open to it. Zero issue. People are desperate to smash him. He’s been much improved over recent games.

How many 10’s are as limited in movement as Woltemade? Would you play Kane as a 10?

Everything I’ve seen from Rosenior since the changing room footage, interviews etc he comes across like someone who’s done too many postive thinking management seminars and listens to diary of a ceo podcast on repeat.
