Just read that list and wouldn’t be surprised if we just used Aarons on wing back cover for Richie.

Potentially a good move for us. Maybe a midfielder who can carry the ball forward will help breach the massive gap between everyone else and the front three. Could also turn out absolutely shit. I used to really rate him back when he was at Spurs but haven’t really followed him since.

Can anyone think of a realistic left back we could go for that would be decent and likely to move to us? My player knowledge isn’t what it used to be and I’m drawing a blank.

Think this is another one of those losses (a bit like Richie) that at the time people don’t see the value of having him in the team or as an option. He’s a really solid defender and I’ve just seen Willems is crocked too so if we don’t sign a replacement we could be in real trouble.

Similar opinion to this. He’s been a good acquisition but isn’t of the standard required now. It’s not his fault our transfer policy is awful but I have absolutely zero faith in him to be effective.

Gayle and Joelinton looked good together for about 15 minutes against Man U. Not sure who’s playing where mind but that lineup looks awful. I’d be amazed if we manage a point.

I’m still think people would be more accepting of VAR if it was used you like it was in the World Cup. If it flagged that hand ball last night and the ref walked over to the screen and chalked the goal off there’d be far less whinging. Have we had a ref ignore a VAR decision yet? That happened a few times in the summer. I like VAR but we’re using it slightly wrong and some laws like the offside rule need adapting for the technology.

Echoing what others are saying but Leeds look miles better than us. Far more organised and playing with a clear system.
