I think I’d be much happier if we were sat back and looking solid but with two up front it just looks like they’re walking through us. Leicester do look very good, I’d love us to be so comfortable on the ball. Hope we scrat at least a draw out of this.

Similar to most I’m not keen on that lineup. I really hope we manage a positive result today or there will be an almighty kick off on here ?

A couple of big calls tonight. Pretty pleased with that lineup and hopefully some of them take their chances. I’m still feeling confident we’ll get a result.

Not that I’ve got anything against Saviet but I’d be staggered if he somehow made into the first team given both Merino and Hayden are back.

Weirdly looking forward to this. Despite the negativity I don’t think we’re as bad as the performances in the last two games. I think Rafa will revert back to the formation that worked well for us before this two striker experiment - probably due to Merino’s injury. I think Pérez and Merino will come back in but I’m not expecting Mitrovic even though he deserves a shot now. The only worry is how piss poor at dealing with set pieces we’ve been since Lascelles got injured. Given our 4 losses in a row I think we might catch West Brom off guard. 0-2 Gayle Murphy

Awful. The only positive was seeing Merino get some minutes. Hoping we go back to the system that worked well for us at the start of the season now we have a couple of players back fit. Darlow, Pérez, Mbemba and Mitro should all be knocking on the door for a start though.

Hope this ends the playing with two strikers argument.

Really not fond of that lineup given the other options we have on the bench but have complete faith Rafa knows what he’s doing. I’m hoping Murphy or Joselu has a stormer today.

Was also hoping he’d hang on until then given how awful the atmosphere is at home for them at the minute.

I thought he was our best defender on the day. He made a lot of important interceptions and was probably the only player on the pitch that was still playing with the same intensity all the way through the game. I don’t think he can be blamed for the goal too much with either - it was just all round quality.

Played decent in the first but I didn’t get the impression the players believed they could get anything when we came out for the second half. The pressing wasn’t the same and Ritchie and Shelvey seemed to go completely missing. Not sure I’m sold on playing two of the strikers we had but it’s probably the best team we can put out? On a side note it’s obvious how important Lascelles is to the back line when he isn’t in it.

Thought we’ve played alright but were asking for those goals in the latter part of that first half. The first goal was just quality from Pogba but the second was dire.
