How can people say Brighton are definitely the best? There's almost no difference between us and them hence why it's been so close for pretty much all of the season. It was only a couple of games ago they got hammered by Huddersfield, were nearly beaten Brentford but for a late couple of goals then failed to beat Ipswich at home. We've had an unfortunate draw today and people are flapping their arses. I wonder if every time we've gone back to the top of the league the Brighton forums have had a meltdown and vilified as many scapegoats as possible? Huddersfield are the real issue whether they can continue applying pressure otherwise the title could easily be won by either us.

Can anyone at the match say how Atsu did? I read on twitter he had a very strong second half.

Not a terrible point considering the start and Huddersfield failing to win. It's slightly worrying how badly we struggle to so called lesser opponents. Hopefully Gayle is fit soon and we get a few big results over the next few games.!

This is going to be massive question about this group of players. Brighton have salvaged shit situations enough times this season, it's time some of these step up.

Would like to see Atsu and Richie playing on the wings to try and provide some service for Mitrovic. Hopefully we get a good win and he scores because we're going to need one of the strikers to step up with all of these big games coming.

Good result last night. I thought Gallowgate Flags and the lads in the corner did a fantastic job creating a good atmosphere for the players but that sort of thing has to work both ways. We were absolutely turgid first half and not mustering a shot or looking even remotely interested really sapped the life out of the place. If it wasn't for Yedlin forcing the issue to win the corner at the end of that half it could have been a very long night. Lascelles aside from his mistake completely dominated every ball in the air. Colback had the best game I've seen him play all season and Mitrovic worked his arse off and disrupted their back line. I don't get people who seem to maintain agendas against certain players because they've been shit. Villa have absolutely nothing about them. Their fans on social media are cretinous and given the "banter" they seem to enjoy it sure seems to have ruffled them that we were loving Lansbury's misfortune. I've no idea how Birmingham fans put up with them because my experience of them seems the complete opposite. Good win but we need to give more over the next couple of weeks if we want to maintain this promotion push.

I think Brighton have the lasting power this season. They seem to have a lot of fight in them as a squad. The real question is whether any of the current sides outside of the top two can maintain enough pressure to make one of us wobble.

I've just read he has played through the ankle injury over the past few weeks. I guess it explains why he was so inconsistent v QPR and Derby.

Hopefully Anita is back soon or Mbemba is given a go. That hard run of games with Colback in every week isn't ideal.

Solid. Didn't put a foot wrong I thought. I think he lost Ince for that late chance but aside from that I thought he was very no nonsense. Lascelles was trying to be too clever v QPR and ended up looking stupid. If he copied the ugly side of Hanley's game he'd be twice the player.

Part of the reason we were so vulnerable towards the end is because we got literally nothing from this useless bastard. How Carson got away with that I'll never know.
