Van Hecke, Elanga, Ramsdale then either keep or replace Isak with Sesko and pull in Wissa as a Wilson replacement then this window might not be a total disaster after all. Then obviously Vardy or DCL just for the forum craic.
-
If this is this case - which I think everyone believed to be likely - we can’t let Isak go til the summer. We don’t have the time to pull in an adequate replacement as all of the major targets have chosen other options. Keep Isak and pay the Wissa money and we’ll be fine. Isak will have to lump it for a year.

I think this will be it. I think Pope’s kicking is fairly detrimental on how we want to play. Ramsdale is clear of him in this department. I think he’ll be given the opportunity to fight for the no1 spot and if he cuts out the erratic stuff I think he’ll become our no1.

I realise how obviously baiting this post is but I was thinking yesterday how much Charnley and Ashley would have absolutely loved PSR. A licence to spend fuck all and try and exist in the bottom half of the league each year. As frustrating as this window has been we’re miles away from that version of a club now.
-
Another thing that’s niggling away in my mind is if we’re dropping down the target list - Kepa went for £5m earlier this window. In comparison to Ramsdale and what we’ll likely have to pay for him that’s gonna be an awful value comparison.
-
I don’t hate this. It’s not inspiring though.
-
I reckon either of those moves would be good for Sesko but the wages at Man U are going to be significantly higher. We’re going to get mugged off again here.
-
I’ve got past the denial and anger stage now I’ve just accepted this given how the chips have fallen. If we can get anywhere near our valuation for him we’ll have done alright. If it’s gonna happen hopefully it does quickly so we can get reinforcements in assuming this lot know how to do that. I still think he’s a dick given the way he’s gone about it and it’s such a shame given he was integral to bringing a trophy here. I dont think it would be the worst idea if we could get north of £100m plus a player out of it too.

Age+cost. I sort of agree though. He’s got a bit of Harvey Barnes about him though in that he doesn’t seem to do much until he absolutely does
-
I just don’t understand some of these prices at the minute. Felix, Diaz, etc. Some of those Chelsea players they’ve somehow made money on. There’s something dodgy going on. Chelsea would have got £30m for Longstaff
-
£30m +£5m seems more than fair given he’s into the last year of his contract. Brentford taking the piss with this one. They did exactly the same to Man U though so it’s to be expected
-
Unpopular but I’d take Darwin over Jackson here.
-
Bruno + Paqueta would be the type of feel good boost to this window I could get behind.
-
There’s going to have to be some real coping mechanisms in place by the people refusing to criticise our board over these transfer dealings. It’s awful and it’s turning the club into a laughing stock. Pay the fucking money a club wants for their player at this point. We’ve got a couple of weeks to sign maybe two strikers, arguably a centre mid and definitely a cb.

Clubs are doing this just for the twitter banter now

I think for the whole club they need to get Wissa wrapped up by the weekend.

Can’t wait for his wife’s passive-aggressive instagram story later
-
Wait.. He’s gone to be no2 with Ederson staying and Ortega being moved on according to Ornstein. What is the point in that?

Baldwards has nearly sent me over the edge this morning

My breakdown if Dubravka refuses will be severe

I’m all in for this replacement
