I hate how we’re never open about longer lay-offs. I’m sure there’s probably a reason for it but as a fan the constantly extending injury periods is really frustrating. Especially for someone as important to how we play as Big Joe.

Im pleased we dodged Bournemouth, Villa and City. Brighton aren’t what they were in recent seasons so it’s a decent opportunity for us to progress.

Howe has shat the bed. I hope this works out for him but changing our style against a team well suited to breaking low blocks down when we’ve got a 2-0 lead seems beyond risky. We should just be getting after these, playing the way we do best. Just like against all the big teams we’ve pulled off big results at home against.

Would really appreciate it if we didn’t do what we’re sometimes prone to and concede straight away.
