I guess 'Poznan with Paolo' would be quite ironic

  6. What does a player who wants out look like? http://thetouchlinetimes.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/jose-enrique_0.jpg ffs More like he wants to come out
  7. and in other news, Lee Ryder currently thrapping himself because his game of 'Twitter sourced news Russian Roulette' has got him some sort of 'scoop'.....
  8. BBC Sport running with this now - not good news
  9. Staying up is more important and we don't have the squad to be playing EL, league and FA Cup come February and March. I hate to say it but if it means staying up then i don't really care tbh. This, sadly. A couple of free weekends might do us some good, particularly with the Europa about to start up again soon.
  10. I can't remember the last time I felt this sick after a match. Now drinking Leffe in the Five Swans in the hope it will numb the pain. For the first time this season I'm seriously worried
  11. From Pardew's comments in the Ronnie, it looks like Ba will probably play. I just hope for the sake of the club that people lay off him. The need for three points is far greater than any need to voice displeasure towards someone who is still a NUFC player, and might well be for the rest of the season. Save it for if and when he comes back with an opposing team, because it certainly wouldn't do us any favours tonight.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Good grief...no mind games here, this is nothing more than a childish, angry tirade. Far too easy for Pardew to assume the high ground here. Just needs to keep his cool, with a tiny little dig if the opportunity arises

Totally thought this at the time. Wondered what the micey little gonad was doing there and how they could stand him gibbering on like that. Seem to remember the others just looking at him and then turning away and saying "Right. Anyway..." Felt a bit embarrassed for him tbh, being so out of touch. Still, guess he got the £££s.
  14. A lass from work said before they're all having a good singalong outside the Garter with one policeman hovering nervously nearby. Yep, loads of them outside the Black Garter having a good sing song. All seems quite good natured, but there are about 5-6 coppers there now keeping them in check. Looking at the state of some of them 20 or so minutes ago there'll probably be one or two who don't make the match.
  15. Most likely this. He's a very good player, but those wage demands are crazy.
  16. Not coming up as that on mine. Think I might sit toward the singing corner for this one. Vary it up. Might still have me down as a student, although I am paying for an adult season ticket. Who know's. I had a similar issue when I bought a pair of tickets for this match. The one bought on my supporter number came to £15, and the other ticket bought against a different supporter number came to £20. The seats are next to each other in the Platinum Club and the season tickets that they were bought against are both adult category. Only difference I can think of is that I've had my season ticket for longer, but not sure why that would make any difference.
  17. A lass from P&O rang me yesterday to helpfully point out that I hadn't booked a coach transfer from Zeebrugge to Brugge when booking the ferry. This probably makes me a numbnuts for missing this and not booking in the first place, but just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else has not done this and requires the transfer. I hadn't got as far as looking in to getting from the ferry to the city centre, and back, and I must've missed the option of booking the transfer in all the excitement of booking the ferry. Just in case anyone needs it, the telephone number is 08716 646464. You'll need to quote your booking reference and have a credit/debit card handy, but it only take two minutes.
  18. Me too, although its not so much me that I'm worried about as I have 15 points, the Mrs only has a couple of loyalty points so as it drops in blocks of 5 or 10, that might as well be nil. Think I'd be off the team for quite some time if I left her on her own whilst I went to the match......presuming that 15 points would be enough anyway, which is starting to look a bit dicey. I'm clinging on to the hope that the authorities might intervene and encourage FC Brugge to give us a decent allocation, in order to avoid (what they will perceive) up to 7-8k dafties drinking non stop and terrorising the city centre. I'm sure I read somewhere that the stadium is a couple of miles out of town, so that would at least install a potential 3-4 hour alcohol free window, something I'm sure the Belgian Polis would welcome.

Serious question, does anyone know roughly what he's on salary wise? I suspect he's a big earner, but I've never been sure how big.

Named in our Premier League squad for this season, his moment has arrived.
  23. Probably just tittle tattle. Does sound ridiculously high and would've thought 50+ loyalty points max as a starting point, unless we get a rubbish allocation, which I can't see either given what happened with Brum last year.
