Yeah, I don't reckon they have any scouting network at all, they just hijack other people's deals. If the other big spenders had any sense they'd put it out that they're chasing some absolute muppets. Chelsea would probably step in and sign the lot.

Imagine if SSN had a plane spotting segment as part of the Transfer Show. Kaveh and Whassname stood in front of a giant flight tracker screen. ?
-
? That's 1982 Soviet Council of Ministers level paranoia right there.

Oxlain-Chambermaid's gone off. I hadn't realised he was still on the pitch!

How many years is it since a commentator said an upcoming game involving us had a real top of the table feel to it? ?
-
? Well at least you've addressed it right there.

Yeah, it's just that it's the opinion of a Leicester fan yet didn't appear to attract any interest.

Don't have a strong opinion on Tielemans myself, but just wondering why this post from a few days ago seems to have been almost completely ignored.

It was, like. ?

That was so funny I can't even be upset at Liverpool leading.

? Sometimes you can lose more than the player. Wouldn't want to risk the squad's, fans' and potential signings' perception of the club to change from one that's going to the top to one that's happy to be 7th, rather than 17th.

? Mebbies, but Kirk Cousins.

Balls. Be pushed to get me pizza cooked now before Jets - Lions kicks off.

Brom fan on Twitter has said, 'I'm beginning to think it might not have been the players after all'. No shit. ?

Kane is a diver for sure, but how the fuck are you supposed to run normally with someone's leg between yours? ?

How the fuck do people mispronounce War?

Got to keep in practice I suppose.

It didn't used to be allowed. I can remember keepers rushing to the ref claiming the taker had hesitated during his run up. Dunno when it became permissible.

He looks like he's furious he's missing the early NFL games. So am I tbh.

One of the great mysteries of the universe is why the fuck professional strikers can't stay onside.

No you couldn't, because it could still be considered a foul due to being reckless or dangerous, or unsportsmanlike conduct. I mean, you may be happy with things as they are, but for me pens like that ruin the sport. I can't agree that a ball deliberately kicked out for a goal kick to draw a foul warrants a crack from 12 yards.
-
But the definition of a foul in that context is that the player has been impeded. I don't agree that someone who's kicked the ball out has been impeded, because there's nothing he can do to further influence that sequence of play. It's one of my football pet hates. It's not long ago that people were kicking the ball so it was going out before kicking the keeper in the ribs to have an excuse to fall over, and getting the keeper sent off as well as a penalty! Completely ruined numerous games.

In my view those penalties should never be given (unless the tackle is judged to be reckless or dangerous). He's kicked the ball so there's nothing he or anyone else can do to stop it going for a goal kick. Therefore he hasn't been impeded by the tackle. Happens time and time again, and I completely disagree with it. And yet their argument for not giving that foul on Fraser by the keeper last year was that the opposing player had the ball! He was far more able to influence play than someone who kicks the ball out. There are far too many soft as shite penalties. Puts me off the sport tbh, to some extent. I think the powers that be like lots of penalties because they think it adds to the entertainment.
