Was thinking that instead of penalties, they should play on after ET until someone scores BUT they remove a player from each team every 2 mins (I'm flexible on the timing). Goalies to play on until one scores, or the managers come on.

Using 9/11 as a prop in petty football rivalry is pretty rancid mind you.

Monster will be missing a trick if they don't do a Joelinton special edition

Swear Murphy reads this forum, that's getting ridiculous

Slightly hollow as well considering Isak cost 60m and has hardly featured.

Yeah, raises our visibility plus hopefully they'll rave about us as a club to team mates (want all the Brazilians)

Imagine his kids being relentlessly drilled in every step of their infantile development.

Was mid-flight yesterday so had to follow the BBC text rather than watch live. Just managed to watch the highlights and was expecting the Wilson goal to be more contentious - nothing in it at all Lovely to see us still push after their goal and we had the better chances overall. Wilson just needed a touch off that Willock strike...

Pretty certain I wouldn't engage with someone fucking stupid enough to mention terrorists in an airport/on a plane

It was obviously a joke. Guy got tagged in an unrelated thread, had a bit of back and forth then people started crying about it FFS.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

As an ex-accountant, that disappoints me far more than the "...if Lingard" debacle -

Wish people would stop bitching about Man U and how we should stitch them because if Lingard or whatever. It's not about them, it's about our relationship with our own players and how we treat them... that sort of attitude will play dividends rather than treating them as assets. I'm disappointed he's leaving but understand his perspective and think it paints the club in a good light that we haven't stood in his way. I hope it was amicable and he didn't throw his toys out of the pram as that would sour his memory, but until then, cheers Dubs and all the best. -
Gotta love RTG... "One thing is for sure, the last 24 hours has shocked the football world with major players and pundits already voicing their disbelief at Neil’s decision. Even Darren Huckerby, who has nothing to do with Sunderland has stated his disbelief. We aren’t alone in being totally shocked by this." Footballing world = Darren Huckerby

So much has been made of our "budget" this window that I think it has made some people nervous that we won't get what we need. If we overspend on 1 player to the extent that we don't get other needed positions in, then I get the concern. Personally though, I've never believed there was a set limit and they'll spend on the right players if available. Cash won't be an issue and FFP not for a couple of years, at which stage revenue via sponsorship and hopefully competitions (Europe ) will keep us going.

My Watford supporting mate rates him higher than Richarlison at the same stage.
-
Mate described him as more of a 10 than a direct Wilson replacement. Rates him and reckons with the right development will get even better.
-
Are we talking cash or FFP?

I live in Watford so I'll start knocking on doors for opinions once I've got my kids down for the night
-
Yup, Howe and others will have poured over hours of detailed footage of him. If they feel we can get significant improvements out of him (ala JL and Krafth) then could work out very nicely. If he doesn't quite hit where we want him to be, probs can recoup a good chunk after a couple of years.

Feels like I'm re-reading the same page over and over again here
