Only option left to us is flowers for his wife. And maybe chocolates, some women like chocolates.

I wouldn't expect Rafa to be happy fighting it out for mid-table if we get promoted. I also can't imagine we'll sign the 6-7 players needed to be pushing higher. It's a tough one, can only assume some of the summer signings were supposed to comfortably make the jump up. Motn sure how many of them fit that bill...

Yeah, if you look at the beginning of this thread you can see what our opinion of him was for £12m. Now he has 4 months shining in a relegated team of sh1te and 6 months on the bench for another struggling team. Don't get me wrong, I would like him back and £13m is fine with me but would rather stand our ground then get walked over by Palace and Fat Sam. Of course when Ashley offers 10m in summer then I'll be full on raging.
-
Palace didn't want him out that badly or they wouldn't have been dicks about the loan fee. They could easily have offset that against the £13m in the summer and if we didn't get promoted so didn't take the option to buy, surely he would command a better fee after playing rather than warming their bench. Didn't see Townsend come out begging to return either....probably hoping another prem club would swoop in.
-
Allardyce saves them last season only to hopefully relegate them this one via saving palace.
-
Ideally we would get in 3 or so premiership standard starters in Jan with additional coming in summer. Would hopefully limit disruption but leave us in a good place for the start of the season. Assuming we'll be promoted of course. Would expect players to be willing to give up 4 months or so to have the opportunity to play for us under Rafa. Would need to move some on though...
-
Hes learning the league and will be far more at home in the premiership, so I'm personally relaxed about how we get through this season as long as it ends with us promoted....though sure he'll tweak things to make it a little easier! Hopefully this is the last season for both Rafa and NUFC outside the prem.

Andy Carroll a couple of time after he left. *Rumoured

I'd rather they stayed up in a way. A lot of wrongs need righting so would relish the thought of smashing then next season. Then they can go down and stay there.

Someone please burn this thread and defecate on its remains.

Why are people fixated on the 7 weeks? Would they rather the FA charged immediately at the point of complaint or bother to investigate? It could be particularly sensitive so they've taken their time, we could have dragged our feet to keep him playing as long as possible etc. Doubt there is anything sinister in play, just processes can drag sometimes.

It's the Ready To Groom and calling them paedos that bothers me. Using some young girls plight to score points is a little unsettling. If they start going on about being the classiest or horse punching etc, a simple "johnson" and it's case closed. They know this but no need to celebrate it here.
-
He's referring to the premiership more so assume he's talking in the main about last season. Don't find it unbelievable that for the 10 games last year Rafa came in to the role with some suggestions which he took on board, seeing he joined mid-season with limited knowledge of the squad. Expect the new contract put paid to any of that and he maybe thought Saivet wasn't right for the championship. He has erred on the side of proven 2nd tier experience in a few areas.

"I agree, I also think Pardew has destroyed Zaha" Lollololololo

I nearly signed up to here explaining my current job as Darththerapist but decided against it. :yikes:

For months I read hithere as hit-here and had no idea what it meant.

Never got attached so not fussed, money in the bank etc. Have to say though, beginning of last season he was one of the players that didn't seem to sh1t it when he got the ball. Did like the look of him but he went missing as time went on and we needed him most. He's a good player that obviously didn't want to be here when it got tough....will do well in another environment.

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)
Hhtoon replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Seems like a good guy Howe...speaks highly of him and praises Ritchie for improvement taking no credit himself. Can imagine the likes of Allardyce, Pardew etc just launching a petty bitchfest. -
Out of interest, I know players are "trapped" by a contract as club holds their registration but if a manager quits, does he have to pay out his contract or anything?
-
whole club has been dragged to a level below sunderland..... AJ. Ultimate get out.
-
The tribunal seems to look at the point that the club didn't make any adjustments to the clause when he was ill. Therefore he had less games to achieve the required games so was discriminated against cos of his disability. Plus the fact that it was clearly discussed between the managers and Charnley so all looks a little underhand.
-
Much rather be playing them in a month. Far from clinical up front and defence is ropey. They have a team with some goals in them and look much better since Sam joined. Rafa has had just over a week...he will improve us but maybe not enough for this weekend. Ps Shelvey, Mitro or Taylor for obligatory red card?

FFS mate, I just rushed out and got his face tattooed on my cock

I almost feel sorry for the fans as this trumps any horse punching. Classiest club competition can be no more. And do the club really expect anyone to believe Byrne kept it to herself?? I've never worked in a company that the standard position isn't "cover your ass". What benefit is it to her not to tell the board? Can only imagine what she has been paid for taking the flak...
