  1. Also, as someone who enjoys Pointless and plays a lot of Sporcle, him being born in the Central African Republic makes me love him even more.
  2. Talking about football to people who don't like it, follow it, or know much about it. Defaults to either "dey get paid lotz" or "dey all divez rugby iz beta".
  3. Calm, composed, elegant, quick, great on the ball, reads the game really well, absolutely inflappable. Love this man, just such a chilled motherfucker.
  4. November 1998, Duncan Ferguson's debut at home to Wimbledon. He scored twice and became my favourite player. Can't really remember much about it, sadly, other than seeing the pitch and ground for the first time under the lights. Solano got the other and Marcus Gayle scored for them.
  5. It's so annoying that it's apparently a trend in Italy to have these massive mohicans, so now loads of players there have them.
  6. Worth mentioning the announcer's tentative pronunciation of "Anzhi Makha-chaka-laka." Cracked me up.

This. I desperately don't want to tip fate but if we come into this game at full-strength and confident a few good results, while they continue as they are, we could have some fun with them.
  10. http://hem.passagen.se/tiffoso/images/JULIO_CeSAR_SANTOS_CORREA.jpg Júlio César Santos Correa. After early spells at Honduran side CD Marathón and Real Valladolid, signed for Real Madrid, where he won the 2000 Champions League. Then moved to AC Milan. Then via a spell at Real Sociedad, went to Benfica. Then to Austria Wien. Back to Real Valladolid. Next came a dodgy transfer to Bolton, where he was dropped in favour of Radhi Jaidi. Hopped back to South America for a spell at Tigres de la UANL before returning for a successful spell at Olympiacos and a poor one at Dinamo Bucharest. After this he went to Gaziantespor before signing and not playing a game for Maritimo. Played in the 11th country of his career at Sporting Kansas City, where he won the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, before signing for Toronto in the January transfer window.
  11. Gorgeous finish on the rebound from Ramirez. If Messi did that, etc... Well, if Messi did that nobody would care, but it was still nice.
  12. Hope Duff scores tbh (I don't know if he's playing, actually)
  13. Sammy Fabrice Pancrate is going to score for them next.
  14. Milner's looked awesome in the highlights of this.
  15. Wtf, where've the stadium and players gone?
  16. I can't believe that Marcotti is actually Italian and not Italian-American.
  17. When the ball goes out for a throw and the player taking it bends over to pick the ball up. You're a footballer, flick it up and have some self-respect.
  18. They're just a bunch of c***s. f***ing Italian football, man, love it. This. Tbf Zamparini belongs in a mental institution, he's a few notches above anyone when it comes to insane s***. He once said when the players wasn't performing that he would cut off their testicles and eat them with his salad. Why the fuck do you have to eat them after you've cut them off?!
  19. Handanovic absolutely has Balotelli's number so far, could've been out of sight if not for those saves.

  21. Maybe utter shit was a bit harsh but I've never seen him do much to be excited about. He might end up being a solid player, but not worth being hyped up imo.
