Nailed on, I said it as soon as he was appointed. They're so small-time and pathetic man. "It's ok to be shit marras cos if we beat the jawdees the fans will love us and forgive all" (apart from the next game when they walk out at half-time when we're 4-0 down)
-
He averaged an assist every 2 games taking into account minutes played over the course of the season. When fully fit he's absolutely ripped whichever full back put in front of him to shreds and his pace, technique and final ball is just fantastic. It's hardly a bold statement.

Used my wildcard, made about 4 teams so far...
-
Cisse on the wing again? Sure it was Demba on the wing during that stint, like. I'd use Perez and Mitro as the 'wing forwards' considering they're the 2 who can actually impact a game outside of the 6-yard box.
-
Fuck this 4-2-3-1 bullshit, we're not Chelsea or Barca, we don't have the necessary players to utilise this and one of our best players in Sissoko are being farmed out wide and it's also giving that freak Obertan some game time. Revert to 4-3-3, stick Anita, Sissoko and Gini in the middle of the park with Perez, Mitro and Cisse upfront. The times I've seen us play 4-3-3 (Keegan's last stint here with Owen/Martins/Viduka and our HBA/Ba/Cisse demolition at West Brom) to me shows that this is the formation that suits us as a club more than anything.

I suppose. He is white and above middle-class, all the traits of a psychopath.
-
Fuck it, Rooney captain.
-
Agree with this, he may be the best option between him and Colback to cover the full back positions (not that that's saying much...), but putting Anita there would be to the detriment of our main gameplan and the way we appear to be setting ourselves up during games now.
-
Real debate between Rooney and Pelle. I can see So'ton scoring a bucketload past Everton, like.
-
This week is a bit of a dodgy one tbh, I'm holding off on the wildcard until either the end of this gameweek or the next.

Arguing for the sake of it? I have a different opinion and I'm simply expressing it you insufferable tit. Pace and strength are positive attributes, yes - but technical? No. Being able to dribble at pace is a technical ability... If you're dribbling past opposition fullbacks in the Premier League as a winger, yes. If you're dribbling through some cones. No. When he's having a rare good game? Any c*** can have a good game, it's having the ability to show something and maintain playing for a Premier League club what matters, hence why countless players who've had 'rare good games' with us and other clubs are languishing in the lower divisions. But of course I'm wrong and you're right, because you're never wrong.

Anybody can run well around a cone even with a football at their feet with a bit of basic training so I don't see that as a technical talent at this level unless they're doing it to an opposition player. As it is, the only thing he is capable of doing is kicking a ball past a player (very occasionally when he wants to attack them) and run past them. No skill involved, just raw pace which is a physical benefit, not a technical skill. Mole - from the statement 'technically he is talented' I thought you meant he had technical ability. The way I see it he has no technical ability whatsoever, no heart whatsoever and has nothing to offer but pace. We may as well just sign an olympic sprinter.

The League Cup 15/16 - Sheffield Wednesday (h) in third round

Hope we turn these stupid cunts over. -
Really? "Terrific talent"? Technically he is talented, he just has no brain or bravery to actually put it to use. Technically he is not talented at all. He can run fast and this is it. He has a pidgeon chest which may mean he has a bit of strength, but his lack of heart prevents him from using it in a game. I bet he looks f***ing great against the cones in training, the bloke is a f***ing torrid excuse for a footballer and would be lucky to be playing for a League 1 side, let alone Newcastle United. f*** him.
-
Don't agree with paying £15m for him full stop but would be ideal to get him on a decent deal now before he becomes so cheap clubs like Spurs/Chelsea really do take him as a serious option just as a cut-price backup.
-
Need him to hurry up and get injured if this is the shit we're going to have to put up with.
-
Aye, I'm not sure why Fonte would join Villa/Everton when he's captain of Southampton who currently are better than both teams. It seems a strange link. Haven't seen much of Inler in a good few years but despite his age, if he's available for just 3m he obviously can't be what he was (hopefully). I really want Leicester to go down this season.
-
He's clearly out of order, it's about time something he did was called out. If she wasn't a banging bird, no way anybody makes anything of it. As it is, she's fucking stunning and Mourinho is bang out of order.

Better fans marra, classiest too

I'd be careful with that avatar, definitely gonna be some racist abuse headed your way.
-
Shame for him - he's easily in the top 5 strikers in the league when on the top of his game and fit. He's one of those who can score a goal from nothing - his return for Liverpool whether playing with or without Suarez the season before last was phenomenal.
-
Joe Gomez. He's English, so he'll fetch that no bother after about 10 good games.

Shaqiri only 7m.
