Tbf, it's more like Keeper Back 9 inc the usual back 4 and below Cabaye Jedinak Zaha Puncheon Bolassie Bamford. Bench LB LB LB LB LB LB LB
-
He really does look late 30's/early 40's. Either another age fraud or a REALLY hard paper round.
-
Mitrovic added for 6.5, could be a shout. Aarons at 5.0 too, provided McClaren plays him regularly and he can stay fit.
-
Absolutely not true, he's played games before and after then and he's looked shit. So stop talking shit.

Precisely, Abeid could have played alongside Satka for example and would have been a much better fit. Can people just stop with this ridiculous Mehdi Abeid love-in? If he played alongside Satka at CB he would have been exposed in an unnatural position and done no better than Ferguson. Then you'd be like "Oh well if he played in his natural position he would have been one of the best players on the pitch and the back 4 would have been better with him covering it". As it was he played in his favoured CM role and looked absolutely lost and shocking as he has done every time I've seen him play apart from those 2 months when he looked good. Even Gouffran looked better than him for christs sake and I'm not even f***ing exaggerating. When are people going to see all he had was just a short spell of decency? McClaren won't play him, let alone start him because the reality is he's not good enough. That is some top level bollocks right there. of course.

Tbh as daft as it is, Sammy was capable of whipping in a decent lofted ball into the area. Sissoko loves to power to byline and do the classic cut-back (he done it first 2 mins against T2) which Cabaye used to absolutely thrive on. We need Wijnaldum / Siem to try and take up that position as that tactic worked wonders for us and it's the only reason I'd even consider using Sissoko out wide.
-
Lube Shatka tbh, lost count of the amount of times he slipped.
-
Agree with that in a sense, there's just the doubt over his fitness but I'd wait until January to see what happens and decide then if we need a new one if Rolando is crocked. Getting a winger is important, but we still need to prioritise another CB and I'd still like us to get Austin in.
-
You should be sorry because that is sooooooooooo
-
Until Willo does well in training and SmC decides we don't need another new CB as he's like a new signing and puts him ahead of Colo, Saylor, Dummett and Lascelles.

We had an appaling season which most of Europe knows about, even our troubles with owner and previous managers are well known, especially Carver. It's no surprise players aren't seeing us as their first choice, but as long as they sign for us and perform well I'm not too fussed.

There's no sense in playing either of them at CB! Neither of them are centre half's and Abeid is only an inch or so taller than Ferguson so he has little to zero advantage over him in this game. The point I made was that if he did play in CB you'd inevitably come out with the excuse I mentioned before and now he has played in his favoured position and looked shit you've just said "Oh well he'd have been better than Ferguson at CB". Fact is he didn't play there and he didn't look better, he was one of our worst players and had no clue what he was doing on the pitch in his own position.

If he's going to do that week in, week out then maybe I won't bash him for his cheese on beans on toast haircut.
-
Poor sod, let's get him here and show him what we're all about.
-
Another nothing free kick given to T2 while blatantly obvious fouls against us have gone unnoticed. Surprised the ref isn't joining in with their celebrations now.
-
Armstrong scared to shoot, again. Someone needs to remind him he's a 'striker'.
-
I don't think their attacker realised he was up against Satka otherwise he would have plouged on and scored.
-
This. Why our managers seem to rate him I've got no idea.

HAS to start next season. Absolutely brilliant player.
