  1. FFS - don't post shit like that when I'm at work, just choked and spat my water out at that.
  2. Who covers our totally inept back 4 between Wijnaldum and Sissoko then ? Never mind, we might lose - but at least we'll lose 4-3!
  3. I'm sure Jose has had loads of problems with injuries mind? If not, I find it mental that Todgers wouldn't give him a chance considering he played Glen Johnson on the other side for so long.
  4. Honesty's the best policy. That's sure to endear himself to the Villa faithful.
  5. Because while he isn't technically great at defending (or barely anything for that matter), he does put himself about the pitch, get in the face of the opposition and put his body in the line for the team. I can understand people on here really don't like him - which I find really odd with him being a local lad who tries hard - but to try and insinuate that he doesn't graft hard is a bit daft really.
  6. Take a look at what Villa's new signing has said. Amavi or Gueye ? I've looked but can't see owt.
  7. Can't wait for his interview after signing (providing medial is OK) when he comes out with "it's an honour to be here, I always wanted to sign for Newcastle United (providing Roma or Porto didn't come in for me LOL)"
  8. Doesn't matter. First on the training pitch and last off, marra. He would be the last off the pitch seeing as he's got the legs of a pensioner. Aye. 3rd highest overall in avg. distance covered per game for the season with 11.658km - only behind Matic (11.671km) and George Boyd (12.006km). He might be shit, but to suggest he isn't hardworking and 'has no legs' is a bit daft really.

  10. He is a totally rank average player who really should be nothing more than a bench warmer. He's a local lad who grafts hard for the team, was one of the very few players who didn't go into hiding last season and he's quite clearly a model professional who's a dream to work with as far as manager's are concerned. I've got plenty of time for him, but the reality is he's technically not good enough to play in our XI week-in, week-out and so should not be named captain over somebody like SDJ or Janmaat. I blame Roy Hodgson and his stupid fucking 'Ginger Pirlo' comments - as much as it was made in jest, some people in football seem to be taking that shit seriously.
  11. If it is an issue we just need to treat it like you do a parking fine. Just keep appealing and appealing and running the transfer over and over again until they just say "fuck it, we may as well just leave it."
  12. To be fair even a yellow card would have been entertainment in that game.

Nah, there's not that many mackems with the internet.
  14. Hope we get both of them, even if Mbemba is 42.
  15. Aye but Arsenal don't have a player who plays the Fabregas role of sitting back and rolling exceptional through balls to split the defence for him to run on to, their main midfield (Coquelin, Ramsey, Sanchez, Wilshere, Walcott) are pretty much direct attackers - with the exception of Coquelin ofc. They have Cazorla who can do that but he's not a guarenteed starter and that's only 1 player against the rest of their team. Giroud's play is absolutely essential for bringing players like Walcott into play, allowing the likes of Ramsey to steam into the area and allowing Sanchez to get into position. As a lone striker in Arsenal's system PEA is definitely not the best option for their team.

    Hi, mackems. Totally obsessed.
  17. Let him come and absolutely boss it (hopefully) to move on ASAP and let us (Ashley) make more money off the cunt.
  18. Definitely wouldn't, if Arsenal play 1 up top with the likes of Sanchez and Walcott supporting then Giroud is the perfect man to sit in the middle. Brilliant player all round who will get involved in everything from hold up play and supporting to getting on the end of chances. PEA is just a natural runner and finisher. Basically if they sign him it only spells the end of Welbeck at Arsenal, and PEA's not guarenteed to start.
  19. From one bench straight to another. Such a pointless transfer. http://praxiom-rm.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/pile-of-money-300x280.jpg
  20. Definitely, he's obviously highly regarded by his country so hopefully he'll get a few appearances from the bench as well as the odd cup appearance too. Maybe a loan to a championship club where he can be a starter would be beneficial also.

    Charlie Austin

Why doesn't Ashley just off Mitrovic's fatha? Problem solved.
  22. In the 'realistic transfer targets' thread.

Which bookies have suspended betting? Most likely this is down to the 'deadline' on Mitrovic expiring and people thinking the money will immediately be moved to get Austin.
  24. Good. We've got enough shit haircuts in the team.
