  1. Spent the majority of my time at graft scrolling through these and being as inconspicous as I possibly can, then getting myself caught by bursting out laughing every 5 minutes! Unreal work!

    He pretty much can't.
  3. Becoming more of a chore than a chant!
  4. I'm not too fussed about the manner in which Shay left and with the way things were going I don't blame him for wanting out. He gave us 11 years of fantastic and loyal service and could have left long before but didn't. He was coming to that point in his career when he wanted trophies and at Man City he was first choice and to be honest - as good as Hart was - I don't think that many people were expecting him to displace Shay as No.1. Plus, even though we were in decline, by going to Man City he at least went to a club that was going to pay a good reasonable fee for him and as far as I'm concerned, Harper and Krul were adequate replacements anyway so £7million was a good price. I'll be applauding him for the fantastic service he gave us over the years. Top player, top bloke and loves the toon.

    James Perch

Times are fucking hard when we 'need' James Perch. I fear for our aspirations of Europe or even a top half finish if we don't sign a CB... Especially if Colo or Will bite the dust.
  6. Yeah, whatever. We don't even want or need him anyway. Meanwhile, in Mike Ashley's secret volcano island, our super secret behind the scenes negotiations with Thiago Silva of AC Milan are close to being finalised. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/8603/drashley.png

They are. Spoke to "Mackem at Work" this morning, he says we'd be wanking off if we signed him Maybe 6 or 7 years ago aye, but like everyone besides deluded mackems and O'Neill know, he's turd now. I'd rather have Raylor playing there and that's not even his proper position for christs sake! However I do enjoy the mackems philosophy that rejects, has-beens and deadwood are the answer, I mean Phil Bardsley, Wes Brown, John O'Shit and Wayne Bridge do make for comical viewing. SAFCircus.
  8. True, I wouldn't complain if he was banned, totally his own fault. Bollocks, it's like Shearer-Lennon all over again. Looking at the replays and the reaction of the players, it's obvious El-Abd heinously headbutted Yohan's boot in the tangle.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

How many games has he started in his entire NUFC career? Not to mention, how many consecutive games has he started in? If the jury is out it's because we've barely seen him play. Some people see him as some sort of saviour which is heaping unnecessary pressure on him, but there's little doubt he's the most gifted creative player at Newcastle and that's going to make people excited about the possibilities, IF we can get it out of him on a regular basis. In a team lacking creative flair the spotlight will be on a player like Ben Arfa, espescially when he isn't getting games and we're struggling to cut teams open from midfield. It's obvious he needs a run in the team. He might lack certain attributes but most players of his type do. They're in the team for what they do at the other end of the pitch. I'm confident given an injury free run in the team he'll be a key player but he needs that chance. He's never had it at this club. I think he's the sort of player we will give up on and some other club will be laughing a year down the line. I hope that's not the case but when you look at our wide options all season with Marveaux's injury it's stunning Ben Arfa (and Santon) have had to wait so long. I think what Pardew's done on a meagre budget is very impressive but he'll sometimes get it wrong and in Ben Arfa I think he needs to wake up and give the boy a proper chance. A goal and an assist against Fulham, a crucial goal against Blackburn, a crucial goal off the bench against Bolton, the lad is already showing end product despite limited chances and a team playing some pretty average football. We definitely need him. Ye kna.
  10. Don't think it is jet lag that is the problem as there isn't much of a time difference. It is about the effects that travelling might have on their bodies e.g. someone mentioned dehydration. I know nothing of it myself, but I guess when you're a premier league footballer having to perform at an extremely high level of physical of fitness then the effects travelling are likely to be felt more than they would by most of the rest of us. I normally just get bored sh*tless after too many games of top trumps and contemplate cutting my own throat. I f*cking hate travelling with a passion.
  11. 0-1 win, if we're lucky. I just honestly struggle to see where our goals are going to come from. If Ba and Cisse do come back and play, they're both gonna be wrecked anyway after playing 3 games so close to each other, then flying back from Africa to Newcastle to make a trip to Lancashire.
  12. I always assumed we signed him after the World Cup, I've since found this to be the wrong assumption. Having googled it, yeah we signed Guivarc'h at the end of the Ligue 1 season in 1998 (he finished as one of the top scorers in Ligue 1 too). As far as I'm concerned it comes down to whether or not you trust Graham Carr's judgement. I certainly do which is why I'm no longer even half as nervous about foreign players coming over here and flopping, which in our history has been just far too common.

He should quit football and carry on bodybuilding, he could be the next Mark Henry at this rate. Sexual Shola RAW Old School Mark Henry Sexual Chocolate Entrance
  14. Pardew owes him lowdsa dollar.
  15. I reckon the club would rather keep him till the end of the season instead of letting him leave for peanuts now. While Ba's away with Cisse, I can imagine Pardew wants to keep his forward options open. Besides Shola, Best and Lovenkrands, I can't think of anyone fit in the first team who we can call on if desperate striker-wise. Rather Lovenkrands on the bench during ACoN than another Shefki Kuqi style signing. Jesus.
  16. I'd say we're looking at a 0-0 draw in this one. I'd probably be satisfied with a point but if we can nick all 3 I'd be chuffed to bits. Without Demba I just struggle to see a genuine goalscoring threat in our team. Shola and Best are capable of the odd bit of magic but ultimately they are both inconsistent.

    Sunderland...

Same with Boro, I guess it's because most people in the country frown upon incest.
  18. This has all worked out fantastically for us thus far so I can't see your point? Sounds like FM logic to me.

    Who can go?

Harper - We have Forster and Elliott here to backup Krul. If Forster does permanently leave to pursue regular first team football then we can sign another young goalkeeper if needs be. Smith & Xisco - Wages. 'nuff said. Lovenkrands - Been called upon when needed but ultimately not good enough. He'll leave when his contract is up at the end of the season anyway. Ranger - Troublemaker, not interested. Don't want to see him pulling on a toon top again. Get rid to a Championship side on loan with the option of a permanent deal.
