On the flip side I took out Wan-Bissaka as he looked to be out for a long time with a hammy, then he's come in with an assist and looking like a CS too.

I knew keeping Jota and Jiminez would reap dividends at some point!
-
What a flattering photo of him, looks like he's just emerged sweat-drenched from the New Monkey at 3am. Surprised he's only 63cm.
-
But won't he want actual wages?

Like a lot of Rafa's signings, he's a good egg. I think anyone with a degree of empathy for other people can understand his situation and why he wants to leave and just think "fair enough" without getting arsey about it. He's absolutely right, he might be on amazing money but that doesn't help when you've got a lass and bairn with health issues and no family around you. Credit to him for bouncing back and Rafa for managing the situation so well. Once again, the reason the lad can't leave the football club is down to Mike Ashley's refusal to sanction player signings. Proving time and time again what a despicable cunt he is.

Proper fucking stupid, that. Give the referee the power to send them off if they refuse to go as well, that'll really stop selfish players hindering their team. Or if you're an Italian, a great chance to make some money.

Can you dig out a rule for that? Not being awkward btw - but ultimately I can't see how a player can ever refuse a substitution if the match officials have demanded it after his number has been put up.

Really don't agree with the bit in bold, all he had to do was put the keepers number up for a sub and he would have been forced off. Had Chelsea then won the final, nobody would have questioned the decision and Kepa stays in the same boat - even if they don't, as a tactical play it makes perfect sense (Caballero's experience in cup-final winning shoot-out's, & knowing the City players). "Playing down the situation in public and then dealing with it in private" isn't entirely accurate, in his first presser he said it was 'a misunderstanding' and then in the next said there would be 'consequences to his actions' and then dropping him, making it look more like he didn't believe he had the support or authority to do much, until everyone in the football world put the blame on Kepa so he then felt empowered enough to punish him. FWIW I do think he's getting a bit harshly treated as if he's some sort of massive failure and Chelsea are closer to mid-table than battling for 4th, but over the course of the season he's done little more than the bare minimum you could expect from a manager with the players they have and success they've had. 6th in the league, beat some shit and lost to some shit in the EL, lost in the FA cup to the first good opponent they played, although making it to the LC final playing Liverpool and Spurs is a decent-enough achievement.

Shola for Shearer to score his 201st was special. Also Shola chest-assist (chestist?) for Demba Ba(?) to equalise against Everton was ridiculous.

Great win against this lot on their current form and so many positives to take away. Burnley's way of playing football is absolutely dire, mind - no interest in actually playing football as we seen all game and especially when Crouch came on - how many fucking fouls did he want to make in the box that the referee let slide btw!? Special mention to shithouse Tarkowski, too. Justice that he ended up completely fluffing his chance.

A solid 67pts coming up for this week. Very handy considering I had 3 Wolves players in.

Liverpool absolutely love playing Watford at home.

Seen a stat on Instagram that while Naby Keita has played 1059 mins, he's created 6 chances. Almiron has played 99 and created 7. I know they play largely different positions, but considering the quality players in front-of and around Keita, it looks impressive for Wor Miggy.

Laurent RoSchar IYAM.

Not only the goal which was just outrageous, but was it Schar who pinged that 80-odd yard pass to Ritchie? Couldn't fucking believe that - pretty much a peak-Shelvey pass.

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

Pretty much the new Jonas now. We miss his work-rate when he's around, but his general play with the ball can be pretty suspect. He at least has a delivery on him though, and his engine for that LWB role is great. -
Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

There's a lot of keepers who can crumble mentally after high-profile mistakes and completely fall off from where they used to be, but with a mentality like Dub's and Rafa as his manager I don't think it's going to be an issue. What a performance. -
Adam Johnson will take them both.
-
for his ability to completely go to pieces in the box Really? I thought it was because he looked like the Saw villain.

While Rafa would immensely improve Leicester and have them top 8, fighting for 6th each season, I can't see Leicester fans being overly impressed with his style of play and would view themselves as deserving of better, still thinking they're potential title/CL challengers.
-
If (when) he leaves the same mongs will come out with how we'll never get anyone as good as Rafa, he was always well above our level, certain to be relegated now he's gone etc.

1 week after the end of days.

Who cares, it's not happening.
