Going off the strikers that we've went for lately under Rafa (Slimani/Jorgensen) I don't see how either of these are better that Mitro, especially taking into account his potential and his form at the moment. Rafa is the man but getting rid of him would be a mistake, even if we sold Mitro we still wouldn't break our transfer record and £15m is not going to get us anything better.

Completely different IMO. Keegan, Shearer and Rafa are well known in football pre-Ashley so don't need to rely on trying to keep Mike Ashley happy in order to make a good living. Neither do Beardsley or Moncur, off their names alone they can get plenty of work paying them ridiculous money outside of sucking up to Ashley, so fuck them. As a bloke who's barely more than a club secretary and has had an opportunity to go fuck knows how many more times than the salary he was on and provide a good life for his family I don't think it's fair to slate him anywhere near the level of Ashley or even Beardsley/Moncur.

Don't see why much flak is directed in the way of fall guy and just a normal bloke in Lee Charnley. He's a lifelong fan and has worked within the club for a long period of time, he was never going to turn down the job he has now for the money he's on now either. I feel a bit bad for him in a way, he could have just walked through town, went to games and just not been noticed or took any stick, now he's in a position where I think a lot of people would just be giving him shit all the time, just for taking an amazing opportunity to further his career and support his family, because his boss who controls everything is a deceitful, horrible cunt.

While I agree to a certain extent, I think he's far better at playing the underdog and surprising people to get to those means. We saw when we was at Madrid, when you get to that level there is a certain expectancy not just to win, but to do it in a particular style. Mourinho just finished second with Man U and is getting hammered way more than Klopp, Poch or anyone else. On top of that, to get those top level players to buy into a philosophy of grafting their arses off as a team is nigh on impossible, they want personal glory and to break records. The only time they're interested in playing as a team is when it comes to just dominating games, Rafa's style is more conservative and that's why he's so picky when it comes to bringing players in to play for him.
