Didn't they spend around 20m on him, might be a tough ask. £17.1m according to Wiki. For a 28 year old that hasn't seen any game time I think £12m sounds quite reasonable, but maybe a little optimistic - they'd probably want about £14m I reckon.

Aye he's stood out as one of the best players in Hull's resurgence, always making things tick. What's the situation with Lucas Perez at Arsenal? He's looked good whenever he's been given minutes, but just hasn't seen the pitch this season. I wouldn't mind taking a punt on him for about £12m max.

You'd expect it will - Rafa still not 100% certain to stay (although I'm quite confident he will), last home game of the season before going up and also the potential of winning the title on the last day. I'd imagine GF and the fans will go all out.

I agree that his touch and awareness of the play around him is extremely good and he's very intelligent with his play on the pitch (when he isn't being a liability and getting sent off anyway!). I'd like to keep him as he think he could still play a role here, especially if we're chasing a game and require 2 strikers on. His link up play with Ayoze is very good and I'd like to see how he'd do in a game with Gayle too. That being said, you can't ignore how poor his finishing is - for all his composure and intelligence in his hold up play, he just loses it all and gets a massive rush of blood when it comes to shooting on goal. I'd love to see him succeed here but I really don't think it's likely unfortunately.

Mitro and Ayoze up top did OK in the Prem for a few games, although both have looked especially poor in the 2nd half of the campaign. The level of officiating in this league is absolutely hilarious, it really does seem that they just pluck Sunday league refs and whack them in charge of games at this level, which is mental. What's even more mental is that we always get them and they always end up costing us and never the other way round. "Lapse in concentration", roughly translated as "the ref is a complete spaz who's misinterpreted one of the most basic laws in the game, thank christ Newcastle went on to win the game so we don't have more explaining to do".
