Voted I would rather be in our position, based not only on league placing but also the relative states of the two clubs in terms of players, manager, finances, stadium, fans and accent.
I think given their relative success trophy-wise a lot of Liverpool fans would rather have the higher league position than a cup or even both, while I'm sure many of our fans would happily swap the higher placing this one time for a trophy, any trophy.
So I guess both sides of the argument are right in some way.
Great stat from .com:
Nicklas Bentdner's penalty for the mackems was the last goal United conceded a goal on home turf, since when we've gone 426 minutes unbreached.
Was Alan Sugar, not Redknapp.
@Lord_Sugar Lord Sugar
What a laugh Alan Pardew Newcastle manager rules himself out of England job. Ha ha who was asking? .some people do overestimate themselves
Redknapp had a dig too iirc
They've only won 9 of their 18 away games this season - got beat at Chelsea, Arsenal, Sunderland, Swansea and Everton.
We've only lost 2 home games all season (both with key defenders missing)
We can do this....
Chelsea have a big squad with a lot of players at a similar level so don't think their lineup has too much impact on our chances - only ones I would personally like to see left out are Drogba and Mata.
Poll on F365 has fans preferring Hodgson at 62% to Redknapp's 38% and a couple of other online polls I've seen have similar results - why are the media choosing to ignore this?
Rhetorical question obviously, but no less annoying. Twats.
