I just watched the youtube video for this guy, and first of all I have to say he looks well qualified to be captain, but beyond that the fella can really score a canny goal, seems to be an excellent technical finisher so I am excited about that. He never missed once on the whole video . I can't even tell if I'm being sarcastic there, but either way I'm looking forward to watching him play. Does it make anyone else nervous that we now have three players who prefer to wear the #10 shirt? Really hoping we don't have another Ba/Cisse situation on our hands, and that we can find a way to fit them all into the same lineup effectively.

^^^^ I agree with all of this, but you can't deny that the little fellow missed an opportunity to end this debate once and for all today. Losing in this final (and playing poorly by his standards) doesn't tarnish his legacy imo, but playing well and winning could have cemented it.

Is it just me or have we seen WAY more of this than usual in this world cup? I have counted three times when the referees actually collided with PLAYERS not just the ball. A few times where they've made contact with the ball as well, and then countless times when someone is in possession and the referee is smack in the middle of their best passing lane. Is this normal and I just haven't noticed yet? Or are they just using incredibly shit referees from bullshit leagues because FIFA? I watched a lot of the premier league last season and never once saw a referee make contact with a player, now in this world cup it looks like their setting up the fucking pick and roll.

Too bad they keep putting him with Lalas. Lalas seems to fucking hate him, too. Kinda funny.

I'll probably just turn it off if it is Wondo up top. Makes no sense to play someone even more limited and who doesn't do s*** in the build up At least he's shown he can score a goal. I kind of agree with you, but I also think that for him to get left out he must have been playing pretty f***ing shitte in the training camp, so it may be more justified than it appears from an outside perspective.
